| 0 | Child supportMen shouldn’t have to pay child support. That entire concept is wrong IMO. But I have offered to pay %50 of all childcare cost directly. In fact I’d be willing to pay an equitable rate as opposed to an equivalent rate , assuming it goes to the people providing childcare services. I.E. I’ll pay a doctor bill I’ll pay for diapers I’ll pay for preschool etc. ... but to have to send a tithe to a woman who absconded thousands of miles away with a child she claims is yours....? | /r/MensRights | 16/09/20 08:21 PM |
| 1 | Child supportAgreed but there’s no way I can be a father to this kid I did everything I could to be, offered to split all costs offered to share time etc. ... she had the kid in a state 2000 miles away. I can’t be a father to someone that far away, even though all I’d like to be is a good father as someone who never had one. But I’m not the one who removed myself thousands of miles from my alleged child. As a combat veteran the idea of going into a dangerous situation with someone who was forced to be there is terrifying.
