Lol well fuck that guy. It's fine. 90% of idiots just say "hello". Riff off of profile info if you can, but open ended questions like that are also fine.

Lol well first rule is to not be desperate because that never ends well. If you are desperate, you should figure out a way to live your life so that you could be okay if you never seduced someone. Highly unlikely that it would be the case, as cultivating a life like that will undoubtedly lead to you seducing someone. Secondly, I really don't see what you did wrong here. You asked a few decent, open ended questions and she couldn't or wouldn't expand on any of that. She got all fired up and self …

Hey man, everyone has to take that first step. Anyone who has made an effort to overcome their approach anxiety knows how hard the first few cold approaches are. Props to you for going alone, and talking to girls even when they were possibly taken. The mentality is right upstairs - keep going and I'm sure you'll get somewhere. Also, there's nothing wrong with observing groups (or individual) women casually and deciding to approach based upon where their attention is directed. There are definitel…

Well, if the point of specific examples is to provide a good sense of how to work within the context then #4 is still pretty cringe-worthy. There's no way that comes out smooth to someone who's trying to understand the dynamics here. It's a bad example at best and an utterly awful attempt at humor at the worst.

Yeah, I understand the skepticism. It is true that we put women on a pedestal still in many cases as a culture. To me that's hardly acceptable. Additionally, when they expect to be judged by merit and to be placed on the pedestal it's insulting to men. I completely understand and empathize with frustration in that regard. I'm okay with advocating ending that kind of practice, and efforts to expose it for what it is. It's just that I would prefer everyone to be judged by their merits (an unfortun…

There have been a wide array of matriarchies throughout history (in many great civilizations as well) and yes it is true that none have endured in such a state. But that's not what equality is. Equality is neither matriarchy or patriarchy, it is an interesting amalgamation of the two. Perhaps women in combat roles has traditionally been seen as unfathomable. This is also because in the past combat has required superior physical strength. Today's weapons make it fairly easy for anyone to take a h…

In sexual roles, certainly. In society? They deserve the same opportunities and to be judged by merit. That's what's said, and perhaps there's ambiguity between the two. A large portion of this community seems to have trouble separating the two.

You're right, but people are not rational economic agents unsubject to heuristics or biases. There's more at play than just raw theory and some simple mathematics. Thank goodness that there is; the world would be bleak if everything was purely rational.

Gotchya, makes more sense now.

Treated equally definitely means given the same opportunities to succeed and basic human rights. I completely support activism against stupidity that deigns that women should always do what a man does. Again, I only have ever supported feminism insofar as it achieves equal opportunity and basic human rights. Everything else is just a fucking sideshow and when people here complain on that front I can understand.

I'm not espousing all that feminism stands for by any means. I don't condone feminists overstepping and elevating women above men (in ways that I'm sure you're talking about here). I consider that to be bullshit, and I concur that there are many positions held by feminists that are negative and do have a distinct negative impact I fail to see, however, why women should not be treated equally. If you might elaborate on that point just a bit, perhaps I might better understand.

Perhaps in many ways modern feminism has overstepped its bounds and should be checked by men who are aware of its over reach. On the other hand, feminism insofar as it promotes equal treatment of men and women and reduction of double standards is a positive force in the world.

This isn't quite how cognitive dissonance works. Admitting you are wrong is, in fact, quite difficult to do for most people because self-serving bias tends to reinforce behavior that denies blame for failure and takes credit for success. Now, dissonance is reducing the disagreement between an observed phenomenon, thought, or piece of information and our currently held cognitions or perceptual framework. Joining this sub isn't an admission of being incorrect. On the contrary, it's a dissonance re…

Forgive me, but exactly how is this red pill knowledge? If this guy actually believes most of what he's saying, he's an arrogant prick. In fact, it's this kind of chauvinism that legitimizes feminist arguments. He unashamedly marginalizes women's intelligence, their contributions to society, and the idea that they should be treated equally. I will grant that the woman's response to him was hardly appropriate and his response to the situation was actually well formed, but that's the only part of …

This is a pretty good description of what it's like before you actually get to it frequently. I remember freaking the fuck out on my first few cold approaches. After making a point of doing a lot of cold approaches it's definitely gotten a lot easier. Opening one girl or even a small group doesn't phase me anymore; it's almost mechanical. The part about having to score 80% or higher and having steep competition is still shockingly relevant, though.

I firmly believe that for most of us, there's a fine line between fucking hating a member of the opposite sex and wanting to fuck their brains out. Perhaps you just expertly skirted that line :P. In any case, like you've said here it makes feminism self-defeating because the orbiters are all so beta they have no concept of that line and would if have a panic attack if they ever pushed an encounter to that stage.

What a bitch. Clearly this is just embarrassing for him. It's not like he tried to threaten her, he's just painfully awful at courtship.

I mean, sure if you wanna make this comparison go right ahead. It's actually a fairly valid comparison, imho. PUA is important to study for a while. In fact, I think it's pretty essential that all men practice seduction and understand the core concepts. However, obsession with seduction and trying way too hard to seduce women all of the time ends up becoming a counterproductive behavior, turning you into an arrogant womanizing prick or a supplicant performer just like wearing way too much makeup…

Kino is not a trick. It's simply very unambiguous communication. In fact, I think kino is honestly the single most important thing that I have learned over the past few months. You start touching them and escalate that contact naturally. Couple the touches with open body language and they will immediately understand your message. It becomes painfully clear that you aren't just talking to her, but rather that you are very sexually interested. At that point, you'll probably end up getting a respon…

Your questions are too easy to answer with one-liners and/or yes and no. You're making casual conversation/small talk. If you want to escalate, you have to make that present in your conversation. Innuendo, playfulness, open-ended questions, or directness are helpful. Don't be shy about what you want, because you want it. If you want to fuck her, date her, or anything of the sort you've got to send that message. Making everyday conversation says nothing other than that you're being polite to her …
