Some of us might have autism or other mental illnesses

I don’t like it that they had pearl representing men’s rights activism. She doesn’t think women should be allowed to vote doesn’t think they should work etc. Not the best representation

I think if you want a traditional relationship that’s fine but you can’t expect everyone else to want that to. Under traditional gender roles women aren’t allowed to work and were property and men are disposable banks.

Depends on the country. In Afghanistan it’s real but unfortunately feminists don’t seem to want to fight for Afghan women

Yes but that’s the father’s choice. The father shouldn’t be forced to submit to a paternity test unless he wants to

How do you not know how old your own student is? She couldn’t even get the law right while making an excuse

I thinks it’s an invasion of privacy to force anyone to give up DNA samples and it should be considered a violation of at least the fifth amendment and I think it’s the fourth that’s against unreasonable search and seizure. I don’t live in the US so sorry if I got that wrong. But I think either parent has the right to do a paternity test on their own child if they want to

Yes I think it should be the same rules as men. With more men to stay home because half the people drafted are now women there will be men available to stay home with their kids to

I can see where they were coming from hundreds of years ago but society has changed now. Even hundreds of years ago it wasn’t that great for men either. They were viewed as disposable workhorses and not allowed to show emotion

Some of us do. While this kind of thing may be rare that doesn’t necessarily mean it didn’t happen. I always give people the benefit of the doubt and assume they’re being truthful unless proven otherwise.

Why do you think it didn’t happen?

I didn’t realize there were countries where men and women had different retirement ages wow. In Canada both genders have the same retirement age as it should be.

I think the reason nurses are so hesitant to strike is if too many nurses strike people die

Yes I’m concerned about men who are below the poverty line and can barely support themselves. I think if you are that poor you either shouldn’t have to pay child support or you have some kind of payment plan that allows you to eat and pay rent as well

I also think I’d a man falls under a certain amount in income his wages can’t be seized to force him to pay nor should he be arrested

Try seeing a therapist. Explain to your girlfriend why you’re having these thoughts. If you’ve had bad experiences let her know that be open with her

Some women do. There are lots of women who do use intelligence. You shouldn’t lump all women together just like you shouldn’t lump all men together.

The child support system needs a major change along with the whole family court system. I agree with the concept of child support but it shouldn’t be a gendered thing. It should be for the child but unfortunately the family court system is biased against men. That needs to change first so child support can be implemented fairly and properly. I also don’t believe in jailing people for non payment except in extreme circumstances. Also I don’t agree with abortion unless it’s to save the life of the…

They take issue with being treated as equal to children. You could be right however. I have always been for equality which is why I don’t like it. I also used to think feminism was being honest when it said they just wanted equality. Some women do take issue with that statement but perhaps most feminists don’t.

One is absolutely worse than the other I agree. I was pointing out how it was sexist to both however. It is worse for many of course I don’t disagree

I don’t agree with your fourth point. How would getting into a relationship protect your family? If you love your husband enough who could have been forced to fight you should be loyal. I’d even say you should have tried to help him escape the war if he didn’t want to fight

I said it devalues both. However it implies men’s lives aren’t worth as much as a woman’s and men are more disposable. How is what I said a problem?

I honestly hate when people refer to women and children it’s insulting to everyone really. It devalues women because it compares them to children. It also devalues the lives of men because it puts them lower than children. Even feminists should take issue with this concept

Most women understand the problems with forcing out half the population especially when men make up the majority of hard labour jobs. While I think it’s possible however it would be very discriminatory to create a country just for women and I doubt any other country would allow it. A lot of women wouldn’t tolerate it either at least not the ones that would be interested in doing the male dominated jobs

I’m sorry this happened to you. I hope you find a woman that is ok with you being vulnerable with her. It is not always a trap though. There are many women out there that really want a man to be vulnerable with them. I understand it’s hard to know until it’s too late though. I’m sorry

Honestly I disagree with the draft to however if a country does enforce it they should enforce it for both sexes otherwise they are just treating men as if their lives mean less than a woman’s

I’m sorry you’ve had such bad experiences. Women just like men should be loyal to their partner. If you need someone to talk to I’m available.

I think if a military uses the draft they should draft women and men. It’s not fair to send men to die against their will while women are allowed to live.

You’re welcome. I hope someday we can both be treated equally

I think a lot of feminists envy men for their strength. Some of them even hate men because they feel emasculated by being a woman and are taking their self hatred out on innocent men

Most women are not. We are just as capable of caring about the lives and hardships of others. I think this is what you mean right? While some women may be solipsistic which honestly sounds like narcissism to me it’s not correct to generalize us all like that.

She’s not right no. Staying at home and working is not easy. A lot of women may prefer it but some of us would love to have a stay at home husband. I respect anyone who makes that decision to pre a stay at home spouse.

I think feminism did help originally however it went way too far. Nowadays feminism is more about female superiority than equality.

What other men do to women is not your fault. You are innocent of their crimes. I’d advise finding a therapist to talk about this with. It’s ok to seek help as a man

In my view neither gender had it great. Women were historically oppressed not permitted to vote, own property, etc and men were seen as disposable to be sent to war against their will and not allowed to express emotion.

I agree with your argument because that’s what any wage gap boils down to it’s just that a lot of men work more hours than some women. If you are called a misogynist ask them why. They can’t call you that without evidence and what you just said isn’t misogynistic
/r/MensRights17/08/24 09:12 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
