Your post is spot on man, as I'm currently going through the same thing. A bunch of women (mind you I just turned 20, and I'm mostly talking to women that are in my age group) are just freaked out by the concept of going direct. Seems to work even less for younger girls (~18 years) as they're used to having a bunch of orbiters to chose from like you said. Sometimes I just wonder if this is just a numbers game, but one thing's for sure-I just can't be bothered to play games any more.

Is it just me or is texting kind of redundant? Where I'm from, it's usually just messaging each other back and forth on Facebook/WhatsApp/Snapchat (which goes against the "rules" of texting as this could go on for hours if she's receptive). Texting is just used to set up dates and stuff like "I'm gonna be late", "You should join us at X!", or whatever. Besides not a lot of people are on contract here, so texting wouldn't really work if one party ran out of credit.

I tend to use sarcasm a lot, but I've found that it can be tricky. Some girls literally will not detect it at all and get all confused, which means that I end up filtering them out.
