I’m 4 months out of not seeing my last loser baby bitch boy anymore. I’m just finally starting to feel better, look better, not think about him anymore, etc etc. 1 month ain’t nothing. Be gentle with yourself. You’ll get there, and indifference is the goal. And you do need to be comfortable on your own. If you believe you’re only happiest when you’re with someone, you have to find a way to fill up that hole inside yourself. Being able to enjoy yourself, and sit with yourself in quiet times is in…

How are you using this painful time? Are you going to therapy? Reading about how some shitty people work? Diving into your childhood and adolescence and looking at why you choose the people you do, and what sorts of relationship patterns have played out in your life? Setting goals for yourself? Working on self worth and self love? Personally I’m coming out of the gnarliest 2 years of my life, and if I don’t come out of this better than I was before, I failed myself and my daughter. The freedom is sweet as hell! But take care of your mental health as well. Being with a person like that takes it out of you, and even just mild emotional abuse can take some time to undo. My ex was also miserable and had everything to complain about and it did rub off on me. I thought I was a miserable person too but now I’ve learned, having been away from him for awhile now, is that I’m not 🤣 it was just a toxic relationship.

You WILL get over this, probably faster than you think you will. I had a similar situation, cheating ex I was with for over a decade. Unfortunately we do have a child so I have to see him regularly but honestly, he’s a sad sack loser. I realized that him cheating and being a dirt bag had absolutely nothing to do with me. He has his own demons. And like you, I did everything for that man and for our family. But now, a year and a half later, I am so glad I am not with him and that I found out befo…

People love and are drawn to other people who are truly themselves, are comfortable in their own skin and individuality, and have amazing self love and self worth. Personally I’m here to build myself up and fix my picker after a long term relationship with a narcissist ended, and being thrown into single hood in this insane dating scene after being off the market for over a decade, not for someone to make me feel a certain way that I don’t have long blonde hair or wear conventional clothing. Wei…

I had all these same problems when my long term ex was cheating on me. So yes, they can be from cheating. He was also a total clean freak so I know for a fact he washed well.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
