Pretty much hit the nail on the head

That was mgtow was. Yes the phrase “awalt” was being thrown around. But any group has exstremists. Honestly the sub was good. Apart from the occasional misogyny (which wasn’t as frequent as people thought) the group was supportive to men trying to find their own way

So… mgtow?

That’s beyond our control. Why should we act on something that’s beyond our control

Bro I just wanna be loved the way I love.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 12:51 PM

It’s one thing to stop being insecure. It’s another thing to live in a truth and not be understood and appreciated for yours shortcomings. It’s genuinely debilitating and depressing to be told to not worry, stop being insecure and ignore a part of me that a lot of women lie about.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/24 11:12 AM

I’d rather be alone for the rest of my life than be with a woman who isn’t satisfied with something I can never change.

There’s the endless cycle. Women don’t want inexperienced men so they go for older. Young men don’t bother with women because they want experienced men. Virgins aren’t experienced.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 03:02 AM

I’ll just say what I have to say. No pill bullshit. My body count is 2. The girl I lost my virginity to and my current girlfriend. I just get the ick. That’s it. Plain and simple. It turns me off knowing that other penises have defiled women like that. On top of that. It builds up to what she has done for THEM and not for me. We’ve all seen stories of men being cheated on by their gf and stumbling across a video and hearing her moan so viscerally and in complete ecstasy from another man while th…

/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 04:11 PM

I think you’ve misunderstood what I meant. I’ve put in 150% into my studies and practice. Most of these women have put in less than that.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 04:11 PM

A large majority of all the jobs I’ve worked. Yes women tend to get promoted.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 04:10 PM

What story? What goal post. I’ve given an experience that I have experienced. My reply was a generalisation

Or. Crazy idea. They just work hard and get on with the job without having to asking for a diversity quota because of their gender
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 03:46 PM

Damn yeah. Maybe all the soldiers, oil rig workers sewer workers, bin men, construction workers should work on developing a personality and read self help books and take extra time off work to focus on their mental health.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 02:19 PM

Speaking of graduation. I went to university and graduated in 2014. I studied music and technology and wanted to get into live audio engineering (at the time, goals have changed) It’s crazy right now. I’m in London. Most of the people in that sector are 20 something year old women with coloured hair, with piercings and tattoos. Again. By no mean am I going to give shit where isn’t isn’t deserved. That sector or even role of audio engineering is hard. However looking back. While they went out clu…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/24 02:04 PM

I’ve been working since I was 18. So many different jobs in different sectors. I’ve NEVER progressed in terms of manager or ceo. Pretty much stayed at the same entry level position in all these jobs. What’s crazy is that all of these jobs I’ve had. The women, who are younger than me are practically handed promotions. I’ve applied for promotion, competing with both women and men. Young and old. And surprisingly it’s women who get chosen to be promoted. I’ve put in more hours and dedication than m…

You’re saying lack of sex experience and relationships make me emotionally immature?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/24 11:50 PM

So basically I’m being shamed for not having enough sex and relationships, is what you’re saying?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/24 10:49 PM

Con? Who are we conning exactly? And you’re saying I’m not capable of emotional maturity because I haven’t had enough sex?

The only past I have is one Ex from when I was 16. I only met my second girlfriend a few months ago. I've been single for 14 years. It's not hard to keep it in your pants.

Those are very two different things. That’s probably such a bad comparison

Ideally. I’d like to have the best sex of my life with the woman I love. Why would I want to have okay sex knowing in the back of my mind she gave away her best to someone to some rando, and on top of that she didn’t even love them. Like why do I as a man have to break my back to care, provide and protect someone who doesn’t even love me back the same way?

It matters because it makes it seem that your current partner isn’t worth doing that with. Simple.

Bruv, I’ve heard entire paragraphs that’s basically a sugar coated no I don’t want to try that with my partner coz I’ve done that in the past. In the end, HOWEVER they said it. It’s still a no.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/24 03:34 PM

Depends. A friend of mine (virgin till 30) lost his virgin to another virgin. 4 years later and they can’t get their hands off each other. I know it’s an anomaly, but it’s the reciprocal foundation on the woman’s part I think what most men want. To feel extremely wanted and desired by their woman. Who wants a woman who’s tried everything and looks at you as just another number? That’s probably why men tend to feel like a number.

I’d rather know from the beginning then have it sprung on later on. And the issue is that she’s not wiling to put in the work WITH ME (for example) It’s great we can have vanilla sex, but sex is an integral part of a relationship and hearing that she gave her best to others for essentially free while I have to be patient, caring, tender and understanding to her “trauma” while having to have lived a life of utter loneliness to only have sup par sex just make the male partner feel even more bad. S…

Sure let’s factor in communication then. And if she still says no? Well yes the obvious answer is to break up.

If im putting all or nothing in a relationship, this includes sex (things she wants to try with me) then I’d expect the same from her. Otherwise it’s one sided
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/24 03:21 PM

True. She’s free to leave.

So I’d like to say this. Imagine you meet a woman who you’re really compatible with. You can talk for hours on end. You share similar views on life goals, morals. You’re both financially in the same place and your habits are the same. However. The sex is horrendous. Like she won’t try anything you want to try. She’s not open to your suggestions. Which is fine. Then you find out through an argument that she did all the things you’ve wanted to do with other men. Not even in serious relationships b…

I’m not gonna disagree with you. But a lot of men struggle with this. Accepting the situation for what it is. There seems to be no compromise or understanding on the woman’s part to make the relationship work. It seems to fall on the man to put in the trust on them. Not vise versa. And going by r/relationship_advice. A ton of women still cheat even when men give it their best in their relationships
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/24 02:24 PM
18

That a very deflective response.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/24 01:48 PM
13

That’s delusional. If every man were capable of going out and getting experience then the red pill, incels or whatever have you wouldn’t exist. Experience, especially sexually and relationships are gate kept and not available to a large majority of men. It’s not the case of I’m the only one stopping myself. There’s a very real barrier in this world for men. Especially those who are below average.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/24 01:15 PM
15

it’s not like they want or choose to feel that way Well said. A lot of men I find are often confused by their own emotions because I feel they’re often invalidated. Even the most basic things like finding companionship in someone who’s on their level are called insecure when in reality they’re just being invalidated because they have their own wants and needs. It exists. But the number and reach of those women are small and very hard to find.

Care to share?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/24 10:24 AM

It makes sense. If financial roles aren’t needed, or protection roles aren’t needed. The only need is to procreate. And even then you don’t need to be in a committed relationship. Single mothers are supported more than single fathers

I know. I’m aware. I was just stating the obvious. The obvious being, just because I’m a man that lives in a patriarchy. Doesn’t mean at all I’m benefiting from it.

As a human male who lives in a patriarchy… I’m still an entry level worker with my first ever adult relationship which is only 3 months in… Yeah. I’m reeeeally benefiting from this patriarchy everyone raves about
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/24 06:50 PM

Sorry what? One of the RP core fundamentals is about self improvement. I assume you watched a few AT videos and assumed all men hate women.

I suppose in one hand its good to see yourself as a "prize" like you put it. Self Confidence is a game changer to your personality and to your mental health. Especially in this Modern World were the image of men aren't what any man has to live up to. But obviously too much self confidence can be a bad thing and eventually lead to a toxic personality. IMO anyway Personally though I'm not "proud" to by a man going my own way, not the word I'd use. I think MGTOW as a lens to aid my perception and m…

I’ve been a part of this subreddit for a while. And in that time the posts have helped me gain a better perspective as a male in general I can’t help but see some of the toxicity here. I watched a documentary about Incels on YouTube. And saw how the dude shot a bunch of girls because of his ideals and perspective of the world. Unfortunately the darker side of me... let’s say didn’t disagree with the scenario that unfortunately played out. Living with depression has given me some sort of clarity …
