And there it is.

You're jumping to extremes. I didn't say sexualizing everyone is productive. I said that I agreed with his statement and told him I don't think what he said was neckbeardy at all. Well, I get that the downvote button is normally used for people you don't agree with, but I still didn't downvote any of your comments simply because I didn't agree. I don't like down voting unless someone is being inflammatory. Regardless, I think you should chill out and engage in the discussion seriously, because t…

Yeah, if I understand you correctly(sorry, still waking up, haha) we're in agreement. But you said something that I want to touch on. I think there is nothing wrong with being objectified(in a manner that is within reason), but when you do so you can't forget that you're viewing a complex person. Basically, what I'm getting at is it is okay to objectify, but we need to not treat someone like an object. For instance, a girl and I meet and have a one night stand. We both were only interested in ea…

God you got downvoted for having an opinion, I hate that shit. Nah, I agree with you, it's a collective. But do you really think buzzfeed gives their writers carte Blanche when writing an article? I've written for organizations similar to buzzfeed before, and I can tell you, whatever I write will be interpreted as the organization's view by readers. Do you think I could write an article for buzzfeed criticizing modern feminism or click-bait journalism and it wouldn't denied? Or if I was allowed …

Makes sense. I think he actually downvoted me, lol. I just don't get the point of acting so obtuse all the time, it's so counter-productive.

The OP isn't saying men shouldn't be objectified, just that buzz feed has bitched about the objectification of women and then they release articles like this(and, even more hypocritical, articles objectifying the female Olympians). I don't think it's being a pussy, but instead it's calling a corporation out for sending mixed messages and berating people for doing the same things they're doing to get clicks and make money. OP's just saying shit's whack.

Don't worry man, dude is either a troll or an asshole. I'm sure pretty much all of us agree with what you said and don't think you're a neckbeard for saying it.

Because kids are dumb. I would've gotten the same flak had I done that. My friends and I thought it was so fucking weird when one of our senior friends hooked up with a freshman. I honestly still think it was a bit weird, because there was a huge emotional gap between them. 13-20 has more emotional changes and maturity growth than another other similar timeframe in a person's life. If I'm 34 dating a 27 year old, nbd. I'm I'm 20 dating anyone under 17-18, people would think it's pretty fucking w…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
