OYS #4 Physical Only made 3 of 6 workouts due to lack of discipline and falling behind on things. Also deloaded on squats due to slight injury, but started using a belt and feeling like I can safely continue. 31, 5'11", 160lb. SQ 185x5, OHP 105x5, DL 215x5, BP 120x5, Pendlay Row 125x5, PC 125x3. Sexual Plate initiated DTR conversation. I was caught off guard (should not have been) and handled it awkwardly. Then I said we're dating. When she pressed for "what are we" I answered I haven't really g…

In terms of goals, sounds like physical (cardio, lifting, body recomp) is already on your radar, so make it a goal. At 20% and the weights you're lifting, you can gain strength while losing fat. No need to eat a surplus as long as you're getting enough protein. I suggest you start eating healthier and tracking calories/macro to gather data, this will be useful once you need to think about bulk/cut.

Great job. Sounds like you are juggling big life changes with the baby, taking care of shit, and raising the bar. I've applied daily 10 second kiss from MMSL. She protested that 10 seconds was a long time. I told her we can invest 10 seconds a day into our marriage. Used the line from MMSL that, "I read about a 10 second kiss...etc." Actually surprised it worked. No need for a rational discussion of 10SK from here on out. There's two applications: establishing patterns (when you're leaving the h…

OYS #3 Summary 31yo, single, lead a varied and interesting life but falling short of my potential. I've been aware of red pill since 2013 or 2014. Discovered married red pill in 2016 and have been lurking since. In the last two years, I've been able to focus more specifically on masculinity. My overall lack of discipline and productivity is my main stumbling block. Looking to build self-discipline and achieve/obtain more tangible signs of success and power. Build solid relationships with men of …

Good job captaining. You handled a crisis and you stuck to your house selling strategy under pressure in a positive way (going out for Cinco).

I'm also learning to apply myself and sticking with things. My knowledge greatly exceeds my practical application of the knowledge.

Thank you. I now see how having your external shit together is the difference between navel gazing and productive introspection. Without having my house in order, there is no frame of reference from which to evaluate where to go next.

Got PRK last August. Left eye was good to go. Right eye is still a bit blurry but it should heal. Still highly recommend

Welcome! Thanks for your OYS. I really identify with making grand plans and failing to execute. I get the sense we both enjoy the planning/optimizing stage and go from highly inspired to overwhelmed and then ashamed of failing myself. Discipline and productivity are what I want to be held accountable for too. I'm building towards F-You money too, but tend to overspend my healthy income. This goes back to my lack of discipline. Excellent job here. Any plans for a lifestyle change? Early retiremen…

OYS #2 Me: 31yo, single, lead a varied and interesting life but falling short of my potential. Looking to build self-discipline and achieve/obtain more tangible signs of success and power. Build solid relationships with men of value. Aspiring father/patriarch. Spent the last decade dealing with some shit and learning to be a functional human, I had to grow a lot and it's been a huge transformation. In the last two years, I've been able to focus more specifically on masculinity. I've been aware o…
