I guess I came across as a tool when I didn't mean to. I need to work on that.

Mate thanks for the updated link, I read it and it's fantastic. Can't seem to find Mental Discipline anywhere so even better.

Actually I live in the UK, so there are no motels in the first place.

So where was your usual place to go to meet these women? Wondering because I've been struggling on just finding women to talk to in the first place.

It doesn't seem like it. It wasn't a blog iirc, the links were arranged on the left and it was mostly a grey/light grey website. Thanks for trying though.

I've done some reading into these topics and I understand them. Perhaps I just need to do more reading, but I'm having trouble trying to figure out if it is really the cause of the destabilisation of western culture. Here are some things I don't understand: How have the Frankfurt School accrued this much influence/power? How have they been able to pull it off so well? And what is their goal, because if it's to corrupt western values from the inside, only to (hopefully) have them replaced by comm…

Yeah that's a fair point. Thanks for replying.

Why are the downvotes disabled though? /u/Delixcroix makes a good point, doesn't this take away from the sub's expression of opinions? And like you said, people can still downvote anyway.

This makes a lot of sense, so thanks for posting. I've always wondered if spanking/hitting is really that bad considering it's a very common disciplinary tool in Asia, and they seem to get on fine. This part in particular resonated with me, Furthermore, it teaches them that when they are bigger and stronger than you, they can ignore you. My mom, for example, stopped being able to discipline me at age 13, when I stopped letting her hit me. Because that's basically what I do now. I ignore my mum p…

I've always wondered, does this imply our higher functions have the disadvantage that they can remove us from the present? Is intelligence the opposite of being present in that sense?

I don't know if anyone is still here, but if you are then I HIGHLY recommend reading this: http://www.yourbrainrebalanced.com/index.php?topic=15558.0 It's been the only thing that has helped me get off porn properly.

This was a great read. I'm currently doing no fap at the moment too and I've come across all the things you've mentioned before except the 24 hour detox method. It sounds so obvious I'm surprised I haven't heard of it before. I'm wondering if it's something you should do even if your in an okay place? I usually begin to really struggle after a week's time.

What's your problem fam? I'm worried about her future.

Well, its not that weird when you consider that we have a pretty conservative family and she's homebound most of the time. Never goes out at night.

I'm pretty sure she still is, so thanks for your input I really appreciate it. Going to try and see what I can do with what you've given me.

I'm fairly sure she's still a virgin. As for being brought up well, I'm not sure. My mum is okay but not very disciplinary (doesn't encourage her to learn cooking, cleaning, learning, responsibility, etc., my mum does all that herself) and my dad contributes nothing besides income. While I appreciate the work he puts in, he is pretty much absent in the house and that is felt. This has caused problems with me, mostly hedonistic (drugs, porn, feeling emasculated), but I am (I hope) beginning to re…

Why, is it beta to have empathy for a relative now? Can you not see why I give a shit?

I find this hard to stomach if true. Let her be her own person, you aren't the one who raised her. I don't want to control her life, but this one aspect will have long-term consequences.

Men are generally attracted to a certain body type, and that attraction doesn't change whether you like or not. It's like being gay, you don't choose what you are and who you're attracted to. Attraction is subjective, but if the ballpark is in the "don't be fat" category, you don't market your movie that way unless you want to lose fans and money.

I've been a long time lurker, mostly on the original TRP sub. I've read a lot, but I'm still digesting a lot of it. Appreciate the comment anyway. I'm not sure what you mean by me figuring all that out myself. Are you saying I'll eventually come to accept the red pill?

Thanks dude, gave me some real perspective. Edit: Actually, I want to ask a follow up. Once you accepted it, what did that mean exactly in terms of how you felt about it? I know you said what I do from then on is up to me, but what did you do? Did you become more sexually active? Were you no longer repulsed by girls like that?

I suppose this is where my insecurities run in, regarding your last paragraph. I am meant to invest in myself first, no? I've always wondered if I became a better person myself that others would begin to flock to me anyway, because I've never liked the idea of manipulating people into thinking I was someone I'm not. But then again, I suppose you can't be waiting around to get social with people, you have approach in the first time. Any perspective on this?

Out of curiosity, do the mods really delete these posts out of sheer embarrassment? Don't the members of the sub ask why threads are being deleted? If there's a discussion of this somewhere I'd love to read it.

...just trying to do the right thing. But two weeks later he killed her. Of course. Caved her head in with the base of a Waring blender. We got there, there was so much blood you could taste the metal. The moral of the story is: I chose a half measure, when I should have gone all the way. I’ll never make that mistake again. No more half measures, Walter. I did exactly what you did and tried to resist "you don't matter that much" by saying "almost". Well, after about six months of that I'm still …

I wouldn't say that's true in the 21st century. If you use movies as an example, nowadays a certain level of authenticity and plausibility is required. It doesn't even need to be necessarily realistic. Take Transformers, for example. It's just about plausible while being completely ridiculous. Too many people aren't convinced my "goofy shit and magic" anymore, we're all too eager to poke holes in things.

This depends a lot on the situation, but if I kept getting short/bland answers from her I'd either bail (not worth my time) or ask her directly what's up.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
