| 1 | Any other Pilots here? Stumbled here by accident and very glad I did. MGTOW made me much happier.I'm a pilot (commercial IFR single engine and multi engine pilot) 30 years old, planning on going MGTOW. Gotta earn some more money before I can fly again been out 2 years, I eventually plan on making flying a career. I plan on making some money in trucking then using that to fund my love of flying. In general pilots are trained regarding controllers as this. Controllers are in general to be trusted and their instructions are to be followed to the letter. In fact they got so strict they are finding they have to take classes to become less strict because they weren't getting the safety quota's they wanted and found being less strict would get them there better. To keep your medical current you must follow specific guide lines and get it updated every 5 years, and 2 years if your above the age of 40. In addition if your using your medical for commercial operation then the time you must update your medical goes down to about 1 year and depending on the company could be shorter than that. For example the examiner could talk to you about what you did with your kids last sunday... and Oh gawd engine failure... what do you do? Or maybe he'll distract you and suddenly he'll quiz you on a obscure question that you failed on the written but got a passing grade over all and corrected back to 100.
