The font is exhaustible, the void is not.

Read the rules of the sub. This is a place for women. All women have higher sex drives than men in the limit.

The obvious question here is literally one that if asked, or at least answered, would break the rules of this sub. I will ask it because I don't think asking it is disallowed, only answering it one particular way: are you a man? If not, you're not who I'm talking about.

Because it is a distraction from what one ought to be doing, unless it is the creation of another person, but it usually isn't.

Wanting sex all the time is the thing that is wrong.

Low sex drive for men is due to a lack of discipline and self control; abstaining from ejaculation will cause sex drive to increases dramatically, instead this energy is drained away either during (at the end) of sex or in lieu of sex by way of pornography. The battery is empty because you are constantly discharging it, of you don't discharge you will soon be full. How to handle an overfull battery is the challenge.

Okay, so maybe he merely sees this as the objective truth and sees you resisting truth which he takes to be dishonesty on your part, or at least unreliability. Maybe you can find something in the basic thesis you can agree about an concede that and then find other things you disagree with and offer evidence why they are wrong.

I would be suspicious of someone who seemed to revel in a victimhood narrative to the point where acceptance of the narrative was a necessary requirement to relating with them. It sounds like maybe this narrative is an important part of his identity, perhaps a kind of excuse or an apologetic that is exculpatory or cathartic.

Countries where men are housewives? The US, Canada, Europe and Australia/New Zealand, most of the West basically.

I'm here because I'm interested in evolutionary psychology and game theory, but I'm seeking these topics out specifically in an applied way so all this red pill and sexual market place stuff is very interesting. I also find the honesty here refreshing. As for Mouse Utopia and the importance of space in those findings I think it helps make the point: there has to be a frontier to move out into or things go wrong, at least for men. And definitely achieving apex status in business or politics is ju…

The question is rhetorical, there are some definite ideas about what it means. One is that, for as uncomfortable for us in the modern world as it might be, what is Rat Park for women is Mouse Utopia for men (I won't bother to link, I will assume you know Mouse Utopia if you know Rat Park, if you don't it's basically where catastrophic pathologies emerge when utopia is engineered for mice, though both have had replicability failures). It could turn out that meaningful, healthy social bonds for me…

An author I pay attention to once asked: only chimpanzee in captivity masturbates, what does this mean? I don't disagree that there are many other, better ways to sleep or discharge energy. Ejaculation is viewed in many spiritual traditions as a drain on life force, so I think there is good reason to believe it's ultimately a bad thing for a man, but I wanted to point out that this stuff is operating at a very deep level in the organism. I would guess it's even deeper than a physical addiction. …

The porn habit is not only explained by this need to discharge, and the ability to discharge by other means does not preclude the use of porn, so I agree, having access to sex does not mean one will not use porn, and as you said it's an easy, rejection free way to get this release so that alone will often mean porn wins. Like so much in our world the technology hijacks our biology and provides a super stimulus that most will not be able to resist. There's no good solution I fear.

I think this somewhat misunderstands or at least gives an incomplete picture of why porn is addictive, which basically cashes out to what men get out of sex (or more specifically ejaculation): it's not just about a dopamine hit, men often experience this drive as a burden to be relieved, something which is distracting and even uncomfortable. Of course dopamine is involved in the satisfaction of this drive, but it can be thought of as relief often, or sleep aid even. Ignoring this aspect of utili…

This is largely a question of biology, and the die was cast long ago. I think the best recommendation you've received so far is that he checks his testosterone level and supplements it if it is low (and if he's okay with being thereafter dependent upon exogenous hormones). Lifting weights would be better than testosterone, but let's face it, very few people can actually stick with an exercise routine, so while better it's maybe not realistic. I think the worst recommendation you've received so f…

I don't know about the crying on his part, but the part about not wanting to ejaculate in the morning is normal. There seems to be a difference between men where some are virile and can go anytime and often and others for whom it is very taxing. Ejaculation at the start of the day for this latter type of man will cause him often to not just be tired but to be almost non-functional. There is a reason some spiritual traditions advise against ejaculation exception for procreation, it can sap the en…

Tell him to start smoking cigars like a real man instead. He'll have to do that outside only of course, and make sure he gets the good, expensive ones so he'll have to make each one last a whole week, which means puffing on one for 15 minutes a day max. Once he gets into that habit it will be easy to confine the smoking to a weekly instead of daily thing, easier to do as well because he doesn't have to give it up entirely, just make it rare and refined. A pipe also works. EDIT: somehow I missed …

I don't have anything to add in the way of the encouragement you're looking for, but I just want to say good on you for resisting the pressures during the pandemic. They really put us through hell during that time, threatening and bullying us in many ways, and those of us that stuck to our guns I think deserve respect. I am proud to have resisted the immense amount of social pressure they applied and you should be too.

Do you find no sex drive to be common in men?
/r/RedPillWomen28/08/24 10:49 PM

I don't think it'll be very long before none of us are thinking about our market value and instead will be thinking about how to survive. The reason? A world of men like your husband.

It seems that a lot of men are like this, likely a combination of environmental toxins and their effects on testosterone and the general hostility towards men in our extremely feminized culture. Why be a man when a) you don't really feel like one because you've been eating soy your whole life and b) everyone agrees men are evil and have no value? Oh well, no way out of this mess at this point, just try to get a lifeboat sorted out for yourself while you can.

Like just about everything there are multiple causal inputs affecting the output, what a woman likes at a particular time. Both things can be true, the question is which input or inputs dominate. We are affected by evolutionary drives as people but we are also capable of overriding them. Also, like everything, it's dynamic, it's not a static situation which is decided then remains unchanged; today one input wins, tomorrow another.

I think the assumption that a lot of this is based on is that despite what women say they want they don't actually know consciously what they want and are driven by deeper, evolutionary imperatives. This is true for men too of course, but it's much easier to see for men so we all acknowledge it: woman look sexy, want sex with woman.

I think if you were more specific about how you're treated like trash it might help clarify what's going on here, whether it's your personality or the type of guy you're sleeping with or what.

Being loyal is a requirement so basic it goes without saying, like having air to breathe. Being unfaithful to a man is extremely humiliating and emasculating to him. Usually when a man kills his woman, this is the reason, not that it's justified of course, but just to give an idea of just how important it is. Some anthropologists claim that certainty of paternity and monogamy are up there with agriculture in terms of importance for the formation of civilization, without it men have no real incen…

We as humans are in a very real way biological computers. The results of the computations are experienced as senses and emotions. There are likely very good reasons which extend beyond looks that you didn't find him attractive, e.g. immunologic incompatibility. There are some interesting studies on this. You are right to be honest about how you feel, the real tragedy would be if you didn't listen to your senses and emotions and went against biology and forced something which couldn't work wastin…

Yes, I assumed rural meant flyover, but of course WA has rural areas as well. Another thing that caused me to think you might not be in the States was the spelling of behavior, which I guess identifies you as being in BC.
