That's quite horrible. I don't know how they can lower the standards for woman when there are lives at stake. They actually have to be able to do their jobs, obviously. I don't know who those feminists are but they sound like they're doing a crappy job at being feminists. If the woman firefighters would have to meet higher standards than men I'd understand, but not now.. Weird.

Are you from the US? People say that a lot, 'what you see on the news', but I havent seen anything on the news. Not that I don't believe you, I live in Holland so that might be why.

You do realize that feminism is actually about equality right? I think it's a great idea to have the same requirements for both men and woman. It surprises me that it isn't already actually.
