| 13 | Based russia.My thoughts exactly. I mean ok, if she had drugs on her then she deserves to get punished. But 9 years seems a little excessive, they wanted to make an example out of her (Russian media often pictures western public figures it dislikes as drug addicts) and to have some high profile person to trade with the US. Russia is a borderline dictatorship, so anyone interested in seeing actual justice shouldn't support an overly harsh punishment that was very clearly politically motivated.
