What I don't get is what do women have to do with this? Women didn't need cutting of any kind in Judaism because God made the pact with men, he didn't even care for women. What even is that? I already said I think this is less of a gender thing and more of a culture thing. I'd guess that MGM is more accepted in the western world because of Jews, especially those in high ranking positions. That's probably the reason why it's even legal in many other places.
