I can relate, Before I got into TRP stuff, I imagined myself falling into and embracing a dark hatred. I was so mad that everybody viewed height as the defining factor of a man, when I was "really cute and cool but too short". I was so mad that I was living like crap when other kids were living better than I was. It got to the point where I was sleeping 4 hours per night and then taking shots of rum for breakfast before leaving for school and spending 10-12 hours on campus because of my circumst…

I stopped visiting the forums and other related pages when I realised that the ideology was telling me what to do by playing on my fears and trust issues. Yes, a lot of the information redpill gives is true, but it should only be read and then stashed in your "tool box" to raise your awareness of different situations instead of being internalised as gospel. Idk, I guess true "redpill" is freedom and the circlejerk part of it got me trapped in irrational intolerance. Yes, women prefer tall good l…

Hello brother, I read your story and I empathize with you. Pain is a cycle and it is good that you want to break free from it. The answer to the thread title is yes. A shitty past does cause hateful beliefs. When you look at users of theredpill and mgtow, you can see that pretty much most of them got started on those forums and ways of thinking after they had been hurt deeply by people who should have loved them. They get trapped in those philosophies because they're acting in pain, hatred, dece…

I can relate to you. I'm 5'7 ~ 5'8 max and having my height picked on by friends and family ruined me. But honestly, if there's something to be learned from theredpill, it's to not give a damn and own your shit. Or, in better terms, be confident and find your own vibe. You've got a lot of good things going on already: you're a fit and smart man who can pull out the saxophone for the ladies. It's awesome that you're pretty pleased with your life already. Seriously, that awesomeness is more inviti…

From a fellow 20 year old who used to think that he'd never experience love or be respected but now has a loving girlfriend and a supporting group of friends.. First off, I assume that you have been reading some redpill theories since you are on exredpill. Honestly, the few things you should take from redpill is to always improve and own up to your problems. That's it. Redpill does have some very good information on how people work, but the forum posts make it dangerously easy to get caught up i…

Thank you all for your kind and insightful responses. I have read them all and am looking at applying your advices to my relationships with girlfriend and friends, as well as my own self.

I'm her first boyfriend and first everything and we're both really young so it'll be hard for her to recognize emotional abuse. I don't tell her what she can or can't wear or do. When she goes out with her girls I don't bombard her with text messages or lay boundaries. I tell her to have fun and be safe, and then mind my own business, but it lowkey stresses the f*k out of me. When she's advancing her life as a young adult (new job, new school, etc.) I tell her I'm excited and happy for her, but …

Thank you for your input. I'll definitely read Models by Mark Manson.

I don't know if I qualify to reply on this sub, but I will tell you what I went through, for food for thought. This might be a little long so if you don't want to read the typical BluePill to RedPill story process then just skip to "ExRedPill"/Toning It Down. Why I got into Redpill: I'm a 5'7 short dude from a family of immigrants, so I was always subject to racial bullying from neighbours and classmates. It was also a heartbreaker when my height was brought up against me by girls and at my part…
