So what the fuck are you talking about. I’m just saying that women normally have lower paying jobs, so they’d leave the workforce instead of their husbands if someone had to suddenly take care of the kids for an extra 8 hours. Now that it’s time for the kids to go back to school, why wouldn’t women get more help finding new work, when they lost more jobs?

No I wasn’t. It’s just a legitimate fact that the gross pay cumulatively for all women is lower than that for all men. That is the definition of the wage gap. That is the meaning I’ve been using. You assigned feminism to that and argued based on that. That is your fault.

Women have left their jobs in higher numbers because a parent has to take care of the kids through the pandemic, and husbands on average earn more. Ok. Still a fact that women literally make less money. The wage gap does exist regardless of reason, and that’s why more women are exiting the workforce in a pandemic. Someone’s gotta take care of the kids now, and mom is normally the one making less. I don’t know why that concept is so alien.

Well that article doesn’t really point to the amount of research as causing the disparity. This is more addressing the issue of men not being encouraged or motivated to see a doctor, where I’m pretty sure the journalist is speaking more to things like where the FDA banned women of “childbearing potential” from clinical trials, leaving massive holes in research, creating a 20 year hole in research.
