Nether of these cases was remotely similar. In neither of them was the child the result of the rape, or the man got custody of a child after being convicted of rape. One didn't even involve child support. Can you find any examples of a man raping a woman, getting custody of the resulting child, and the woman then paying child support for it?

No, neither of those are an example of what he asked. In neither case did a man get custody of the child after raping a woman. Can you find any examples of a man raping woman, getting custody of the resulting child, and the woman then paying child support?

menslib is an highly toxic hate-filled sub, that actively censors the slightest deviation from their ideology of intolerance, sexism and bigotry. And no, they absolutely have NOT been talking about the fact that feminists cover up how women are extremely abusive in relationships.

Yes, misandry predates feminism. However feminism is responsible for preserving it and defending the status quo. https://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/p2hgpm/thats\_really\_messed\_up/h8knxgn?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3

"real feminists" have consistently fought AGAINST men rape victims being treated as such every single time it has come up. They have also consistently fought AGAINST any reform to the child custody or child support to make it more equal, every single time. The small idiotic minority ARE the real feminists.

Most of society is biased against men and mens rights activists. Unironically correct. The problem with trying to satirize your opponents by presenting what you think is an extreme position, is that if your own beliefs are themselves an extreme parody of reality, you end up accidentally saying something sensible while thinking you are being absurd. It's like a reverse Poe's law. It's frustrating how hundreds of millions of feminists are wrong Ummm ... only a small percentage of women are feminis…

So, uh, yeah, OP mentioned sexual abuse. You are correct, I was wrong. It's worth mentioning as well that the judgement of whether any abuse is sexual or not is highly subjective. So any bias against men would distort the stats. You only have to look at how female statutary rapists are treated to see how reluctant people are to see women as sexual predators. by OP mentioning sexual abuse and then using the word abuse generally, it implied that sexual abuse was included in his findings It did, hi…

More falsehoods. In fact about 80% of people support men being treated as equals. Only the extremist minority of man-haters try to portray caring about men as "woman hating". Those extremists always embarrass themselves because when you challenge them to provide examples of "woman hating", they utterly, totally, fail to do so. the very real problems men face Which is exactly what we raise awareness of here. Which seems to make you very angry for some reason.

Correct. For the original question, it's difficult to prove a negative - unless the person making the claim specifies exactly when and where rape of wives supposedly was legal. However whenever I've seen a sources for this supposed law it is the medieval rule that both spouses were expected to have sex with their partners in marriage, under threat of the marriage being annulled; the "doctrine of conjugal debt". This is a far cry from rape being legal. https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=itG09FGB…

Working class women have always worked outside the family, only aristocratic women didn't have to. During the late industrial revolution middle class women started being able to stay at home, and this was universally welcomed as a privilege. Remember the suffragettes campaigned against women working menial work - they thought only men should do that. This is consistent with Marxist theory, but only if you see women as the bourgeoisie and men as the proletariat. There has been almost no attention…

The Bureau of Justice statistics give about 0.20% of women annually, which translates into about 4% over the lifetime (most rapes happen between 15-35) Here is a write up, which also explains where the 1 in 4 statistic comes from - it includes any women who had sex after a man bought her a drink (from Mary Koss ofc). Then I agree. We are too reactive to feminism, which gives up control of the agenda. Part of the problem is that a big part of anti-feminism is tradcons, who simply want to return to traditional gender roles. While there are a few studies that show this, remember that employers may just be unconsciously compensating for grades being biased against men (assuming they are shown in the resume). Males get scored half a grade lower than females for the same work.

But there is no way more women abuse than men. That’s just not a fact. http://www.law.fsu.edu/journals/lawreview/downloads/304/kelly.pdf the various surveys consistently reported that women not only use violence at rates similar to men, but that women match, and often exceed, husbands in the frequency with which they engage in violent behavior http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1854883/ In nonreciprocally violent relationships, women were the perpetrators in more than 70% of the cases. …

You can cherry-pick a exception where this is true. for example: abused men have nowhere to go (because they have no shelters) but abused women do. Which means abused men are more likely to end up killing their partners in self-defense. Add to that that women are more likely to get a man to help kill their partners, and you find more women are killed by their partners alone than men. Of course, introducing that point to deflect from abused men would be pure whataboutery

Men are over twice as likely to be murdered as women. Yes you can cherry pick and slice and dice the stats to get subsets where women are treated worse, but the topic here is a provably false claim made to dismiss men victims, so why introduce an irrelevancy? edit: as predicted, you edited your post to say you were talking about a cherry-picked exception. Again, why the whataboutery?

I saw a social experiment on YouTube where a man and woman said the exact same thing in an interview and the woman was perceived to be annoying, bossy, etc. The man, conversely, was seen as a leader and competent. As far as I know we aren’t sure why the Y and W chromosomes lost most of their genes, If there was any beneficial mutation on the NRY chromosome then it would spread only through the male population making men genetically superior to women. Mutations to the X chromosome spread through males and females. So it is better for genes to be on the X chromosome so both sexes benefit from any improvements instead of only half the population

The only study I've seen which purports to show that men are better off after divorce did not take into account child (mummy) support payments. It treated this money as income for the man rather than the woman who actually received it. After divorce women often give up any work they have because of the mummy support. This results in less income from work - but they still ha…

This is a very useful counterpart to "patriarchy" as an overriding paradigm for gender relations. "Hope Not hate" is an extremist left/ politically-correct organization that hides behind the claim that it's an anti-extremist one. https://antisemitism.uk/hope-not-hate-condemns-those-who-fight-islamist-extremism/ I wouldn't hold out much hope of them condemning feminist hatred of men.

An overview of some of the research:https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/eliminating-feminist-teacher-bias-erases-boys-falling-grades-study-finds Boys are falling significantly behind in grades, “despite performing as least as well as girls on math tests, and significantly better on science tests.” ... After fifth grade, he found, student assessment becomes a matter of “a teacher’s subjective assessment of the student’s performance,” ... Sounds like the men were your friends and the women you were looking to bang ... Try making some female friends What?? How on earth did you get from him talking about how women in general treat men to implying he is a creepy friendless sex pest. You have reacted to a man talking about men's problems with insinuations, in a thread about how women react badly when a man talks about his problems. The irony.

This is good, and I've archived it, because antifeminist articles have a habit of disappearing on the internet: http://archive.is/SQARp The only off-points for me are firstly his accepting of the evo-psych explanation for male disposabiliity; we have a bias towards believing that the way our society is, is "natural" or 'ordained by nature", so should be skeptical of these unevidenced speculations. Secondly he accepts the feminist label of 'patriarchy' for traditional society. This presumes that …

In poorer countries, victims are mostly boys. https://link.springer.com/content/pdf/10.1007%2FBF00791532.pdf: In the Philippines, Hong Kong and Greece over 3 times as many male babies are killed as females. In richer countries, official figures show rough equality - but don't count SIDS or 'accidental' drownings as infanticide, both of which are mostly boys. Here's a twitter thread with more links: https://twitter.com/manumiss1on/status/1030098168451686400 Then there's the historical examples su…

This is a bit disturbing While Garrick’s father testified about expenses for the child the family had paid, and even offered to pay for private school education, Justice Kurz observed that while “Mr. Garrick’s family has no obligation to meet his child support obligations … and can spend their money on (the child‚ as they see fit … (it appeared) … that Mr. Garrick (had) control over those expenditures and would be able to turn on the tap if he were so inclined.” So now the man's family is respon…

I call bullshit on all of these claims. Note the linked article only contains two of these statements, and neither are sourced. The guardian has a habit of reporting feminist propaganda without fact-checking it. https://b0yp0wer.wordpress.com/2019/09/30/132/

This also mentions "marital coercion", which meant that when a wife committed a crime and the husband was present, he was presumed to have coerced her.

You may have misread the citation slightly, it is actually: Calvin Bradley v the State, 156, Mississippi, 1824, in R. J. Walker, Reports of Case Adjudged in the Supreme Court of Mississippi (St. Paul, Minn., West Publishing, 1910), p. 73, section 157 So he is saying the Walker book is the source for this interpretation of this case. I don't have either the transcript of the case or the book so can't check this. a major step towards illegalizing wife-beatinng. Wife beating has always been illegal…

According to this page, It’s a myth that a rape conviction requires 4 witnesses; apparently that’s for when a woman is accused of adultery - ie when it’s as female defendant. The Wikipedia page doesn’t exactly contradict that, as it can be read as saying that when a conviction is by witnesses alone then 4 are need. As others have pointed out, We’d need to know the requirements to convict a female of raping a male to know if this is men treated better https://islam.stackexchange.com/questions/104…

For people who don't want to read the link, it's a review of a book that discusses the convention that men and women are painted in different colours in ancient Greek and Egyptian art. The book comes to the conclusion that the reason for this is symbolic, but also mentions the idea that it is because men had darker skins because they worked outside more. My take on this is that the colours are obviously not supposed to be realistic, eg men were shown with jet-black skin, which the ancient Greeks…

The marriage bar applied from (mostly) the 1920s to 1950s, and only to some clerical and teaching jobs, so doesn't contradict the OP, which is mostly about before that. In office jobs, in the US less than half the firms had some kind of marriage bar policy, although some of them didn't enforce it. This was generally a "do not hire" policy, women who got married could usually keep their jobs. This means saying "women were not allowed to be teachers once they got married", is an exaggeration; even…

I don't think anyone has ever said "the only evidence that men are oppressed is that some women say so", unless you can find MRAs saying this, we can dismiss this as a strawman. OTOH, feminists often claim that the MRM is a modern 'backlash' against feminism, and invented the idea of female privilege, so thanks for proving both those wrong.

he considered himself more valuable than his wife and children. That should make casual observers recoil in horror The irony is that the reverse of this, that men's lives are less valuable than women's, is the norm. you would push your wife towards an attacker in order to escape by yourself. Women expecting their husbands or boyfriends to protect them from any attackers is also unremarkable.

Women are sexually harassed constantly This seems an exaggeration. This survey says about half of female students were sexually harassed once during the previous year (using a loose definition of sexual harassment that includes receiving a single sexual comment). This compares to one in seven men. This survey on workplace sexual harassment says "a quarter of women and one in six men aged 15 years and older reported having experienced sexual harassment in the workplace in the past five years". Ag…
