Oh yea if you had to pick it’s not the worst way to go. But that poor man clearly loved her and her kids and wanted a life with them. Hence the brutal cunt lol. Heartless :(

It’s not you, it didn’t say. There was a link embedded though—fucking brutal cunt https://www.smh.com.au/national/nsw/widow-of-walcha-natasha-darcy-found-guilty-of-murdering-farmer-partner-mathew-dunbar-20210607-p57yrf.html

It says the victim didn’t want her to be sentenced in custody, he wanted her to get help. Doesn’t seem like a pp to me

Well maybe if this post was about Amber Heard, but it’s not it’s about the guardian

Well the Sun isn’t technically a woman (highly doubt it’s owned by women) so not really a pussy pass cause no pussy. Very fucked up though, poor Johnny :(

I agree for white collar crime that obviously a lot of rich people get away with routinely. Seems like fame was a detriment for her

That’s reddit in general. See something cute? Upvote! It’s maddening

Use to be a CO. I wouldn’t hazard a guess on the percentages, but I saw many couples brought in where the male was in way worse shape. Like you could tell she had attacked him multiple times and he finally hit her back and she called the cops. Personally I believe no one should be hitting anyone, but if you do hit someone be prepared to get hit back.

Fuck I wish someone would have punched her in her ugly filthy mouth. The sound of her voice is worse than the annoyance of her phone, that’s for sure.

My first thought too. Or in such terrible shape that it’s their own fault for working a job that could get physical at any time and not being fit to do respond

Often the pain of living with what you’ve done is considered punishment enough. At least where I live (Canada) we see this type of sentencing pretty often.

So she got a day pass or what? The wiki link doesn’t say anything about her being released, says she got 40 years. Which is hardly pp

That kind of reason generally isn’t appreciated here lol

So the pp is women getting a single car to themselves so they don’t get raped? 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️

Imo this doesn’t qualify. She’s the only remaining parent to their youngest child. Someone has to raise her. In Canada we often see sentences like this, I’m assuming the rationale being ‘you have to live the rest of your life with what you’ve done-no jail time could come close to the shame, guilt and regret you will carry with you the rest of your life’. Imagine when she has to explain to her youngest child where her dad and big sister are. Damn.

Reason and logic are not welcome here. Or reading the article apparently 🙄

Of course not. They made the stupid decision together. She didn’t murder him purposefully. Lucky for her she recorded it. Probably made it easier to explain.

Yea many women with postpartum kill their kids when they don't get help. Not saying it's right or ok. That's sad reality.

Could be postpartum.

Is execution an option in NY? I meant the sentence wasn't a pussy pass comparing it to other lenient sentences given out to female offenders or even males. See slaps on the wrist all too often nowadays

Hardly a human rights leader but serving 27 years isn't really a pussy pass either

Manslaughter as a was brought about as a way to reduce responsibility if the offender is under the influence when the crime occurred. It should be taken off the books in my opinion. Getting drunk beyond sense is not a defense. And this is no pussypass. This is the Canadian 'justice' system.

I agree!! No one should be hurting anyone ever. I hate that guys can't come forward or expect to be supported when they're being victimized. I used to work in the justice system and saw couples being booked in and so often the guy would be hurt way worse. I hate that men feel like they can't express emotions like sadness or hurt. I can't imagine going through life having to bottle everything up inside.

Unfuckingbelievable even by Canada's judicial standards

For people talking about affording kids. This is Canada. No reason to have a baby if you don't want one or can't afford one. Go to public health and they give you birth control for free.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
