Pretty sure it harms both of the sexes equally. On the one hand, the dating market has become extremely competitive for men and a lot are giving up on it to focus on themselves. Especially because it's difficult to find a quality person who matches your interest, or at the very least that is a popular complaint I hear about. And because men have that side effect, women naturally do too. They just might not notice it as quickly because they tend to have more initial success off the bat.

Women of certain age ranges, maybe... however I'll say that younger women generally believe they want commitment, but constantly test their man's commitment to them in a severely negative and toxic way that eventually demasculates them entirely if they choose to give in. That is, if the girl isn't running around in the first place, considering how frequent female promiscuity is nowadays. Nothing really wrong with it, but... after some time, if you don't develop the attributes men want, you might…

What does being broke have to do with anything? Save up $100-200 and set it aside. Doesn't have to be quick, but that's plenty for even a few dates once you get it. Best bet for improving your social skills is exposure. If you aren't socializing, that aspect can't be improved. But most importantly, don't over-think it: https://rumble.com/v1ltmqx-the-art-of-being-chill-will-change-your-dating-life-forever..html

Step #1: talk to them. And actually, this isn't me being a smartass. My point in saying that is a lot of men will be willing to give you a shot and stick around just because you give them attention, which is something a lot of men - especially young men - lack.

This isn't something I think about often or have much interest in debating online, but it is an interesting thing to consider. With that being said, it's not been my experience with any of the girls I've been with, or have spoken to throughout my life, that their expectations were too high when it came to relationships. Some girls, yes. Most of them? No. And that's me - my experiences only. Though I could easily say, because I've never really seen it to be the case, that it's just how women are.…

Anybody who tries to look tough without a reason to be tough, is weak. Will Smith is weak. He's been a simp for years - his wife cheated on him and he didn't leave her even after she made up several lies, publicly humiliated him, and tried to shift blame onto him. Now he's still with her, and is defending her by assault on stage when impulsively provoked. I have no respect for him and honestly have never liked him.

I definitely see where you're coming from. But have you tried to exclusively make friendships with women? Like someone else mentioned, you can't be attracted to all of them. There surely has to be at least one female who is willing to be your friend and help guide you through things but who you won't catch feelings for. And make sure it's known beforehand between both parties that it's friendship only.

Career [people] are miserable (generally). Some people are just passionate about one thing, and that's fantastic. Some people are miserable and feel the need to latch onto one thing, usually their work, to overcompensate and make up for it. The latter being far more common. It's more exaggerated in women from what I've witnessed but the general principle applies both ways in men in women equally.

A lot of men are under-everything, really.

Poorly socialized and badly adjusted teenage boys from middle and high school now as adults lurking on subreddits such as this one, still believing that because they have a dick, that's the key to any woman's pants. They haven't spent enough time in any meaningful relationships where it wasn't all about them to realize that's not how it works, and men and women have some important differences regardless.

“lesbians are more masculine” People believe this because the idea was higher testosterone levels in women would make them more interested in dating other women. Not a bad idea if you're a 6th grader perhaps but they haven't proven it to be true. Similarly they haven't proven the "autism is caused by an excessively male brain" theory either. For instance, higher estrogen levels in men don't make them more likely to be gay - and in fact, the more testosterone you're exposed to during gestation, t…

Wanted to take this seriously and then I read "Chad" and "Stacy" in the first sentence. Immediately stopped caring about whatever the point was here.

Exactly. Circumcision is Satanic by definition. Besides, the circumcisions performed in the Bible were what the Jews used to do, the Brit Milah. It eventually became the Brit Periah, since circumcision was seen as "Holy" and so more circumcision must have been even more "Holy." Also with the added "benefit" of it preventing masturbation if enough skin was removed.

https://www.foregen.org/the-human-foreskin Circumcision is performed to intentionally dampen male sexuality. It started as medieval practice when the leg of a table was sexualized (because of prudishness), which then became popular in the United States - eventually becoming propagandized under the guise of "medical benefits" to sell the idea to the general public. John Harvey Kellogg's was a major advocate - the same guy who endorsed pouring Carbolic Acid on a female's clitoris to control sexual…

I did make a point, you just overlooked it because of your anger. I didn't try to stir up anything - I pointed out what I saw (whether or not you think it's a negative opinion doesn't matter, it's still what I thought) so I could see how you'd respond to my points directly but you didn't do that. I'm willing to answer that question and have a conversation with you... if you're willing to do the same with me. Otherwise I'm not interested.

Do you? Everything you said was a personal attack. Your quotions aren't quoting something I even remotely said. What field experience do you have, and how do you know that I don't have any? I made a point in my original comment and you still never refuted it - instead you made smears against me, saying I sound "dumb." Why didn't you respond to my argument? Is it because you know it's true?

A key principle: people who have sex often and are good with the opposite sex don't feel the need to talk about the unfairness of the sexual market online with strangers of similar social status. Not very surprising.

You're just elaborating on what I was saying by manipulation and social conditioning though. However confidence comes from inside, not outside. It's more difficult to harness that way because you need to make it for yourself and determine how to become more self confident if you aren't already. Also, we could replace the term "confidence" with "respect."

A lot of the time, but that's manipulation on top of social conditioning, not anything innate. And possibly a bigger problem is that guys let them get away with it. Why? Have some confidence and tell her no.

I think it is overall, as in males and females can get horny as easily and as frequently as each other. The difference is in HOW they get horny and who can make them turned on. It's harder for women to find a guy they want to fuck multiple times every day, but a guy could fuck a rusty soup can laying in a back alley. However, when they do find that person, their sex drive is at least as high or maybe even higher than their partner's (since most men have low testosterone).

You state it's "Anti-scientific nonsense" yet offer no science to counter the point of the post. You know how Ben Shapiro said Cardi B has a "serious gynecological problem" because she has a WAP? That's him admitting he's never made a girl wet. What you said is you admitting girls aren't attracted to you. Unknowingly, of course. If you knew that, you'd be embarrassed and would delete the comment.

To upset men who know that they'll never be wanted by women just because of their facial structure? Yes, this is the point. And this is what we tell women too. But thankfully for men, your face is a lot less important overall. And as for your body, what men want in women generally can't be changed without surgery, but men can almost always change it (lose weight, hit the gym, etcetera). Only exception are particular body types - long and lanky, narrow-shouldered. This can't be helped without a b…

As a man, I don't get offended when I see stuff like this, but it does at least irk me that you don't mention this is a cultural/societal thing and not something inherent to men. Just like how it's not inherent to women to want what they've been conditioned to believe they believe (6 figure making husband, etcetera...).

Not only this, but the majority of men (especially online...) are creepy. Most normal guys who think a woman is pretty won't say anything about it, to avoid being seen as creepy. So at the end of the day, only the creepy guys approach women and say something. It leaves a bad taste in their mouth, understandably so.

All of these marriages I've seen throughout my life with shallow emotional connections, constant fighting, never ending disagreements, constraint over each other's lives, work-life imbalances, etcetera, it was really just that the man wasn't economically attractive? Explain how Jeff Bezos went through a crippling divorce then. Or the laywer/doctor who lives in an $800,000 McMansion with his wife and 3 kids. This is stupid.

This is what I don't understand. I joined this subreddit because it seemed as if people might be like me - they don't follow cultural ideals and norms. And it's not that people are defending them, but they're going along with them instead of just dismissing them. Money is a tool - it allows you to buy things and live in a particular class of lifestyle, but is in no way conducive to a relationship in any regard. It doesn't establish anything more than status but ultimately doesn't affect the emot…

Said the guy who has never had a real relationship with a female in his life. By real, I mean an emotionally fulfilling and truly connected relationship. Oh, and maybe you have? I don't know, technically. But I don't care. Your comment reads exactly like that anyway.

Could just be they think it looks good. I personally like colored hair, it's not offputting to me because of some hypothetical "aposematism" in women. A lot of women dye their hair (and cut it really short sometimes) to signal that they're "different" or that they're in a fringe extremist "left-wing" group, so I understand why it might have left a bad taste in your mouth, but overall it's just an aesthetic choice with a meaning you personally add to it.

I guess for the short girls, their craniums aren't big enough to support a brain with a decent IQ. /s But really, what I always found weird about that in particular is these women have a high chance of breeding a son who's short or average. Maybe he can be tall, if his father is tall, but "male equivalent" height to females is 5 inches. That's why the average female height is 5'4" and the average male height is 5'9". So if "tall" was a trait that was advantageous from an evolutionary perspective…

But it depends on how you meet the person as well. If you're cold approaching them, then sure, looks matter more. But if it's a more long-term thing where the relationship had the chance to build up gradually, and then you want to go for it and peruse things further, then personality becomes more important than looks. Either way, looks can be helped. Anybody can hit the gym, style their hair, get a tan, or whatever it takes to look better. And that's after making sure you have excellent hygiene …

The problem is, nobody with a good personality would generally say they have a good personality unless it's clearly and obviously reflected in their social interactions. Otherwise they likely have a bad personality, they could be lame or dorky, and they just don't realize it.

Doesn't sound believable to me. I wear glasses, and over the past year have mainly ditched them because I don't like the feeling on my ears and nose, but I never noticed people treating me any different. You say people don't believe you work in IT, so you don't look "nerdy" per se. Why did the glasses make such a big difference then if you're a well put together guy? Were the glasses particularly nerdy looking? Seems more like a placebo... You said you believe it makes you look vulnerable, so yo…

Some girls maintain their appearance very well, and almost any girl who doesn't eat unhealthy and/or gets fat will look very acceptable or actually good, just not "beautiful." At 33 she shouldn't look like this, it'd be okay more around her early 40s. Keep in mind the lighting is bad, she has a window open to her right covering up imperfections in her skin, so she likely looks worse in person. What's strange is, in my mind, men lean towards looking better as they age. Like women say, they looked…

The one on the right isn't that bad though, if she let her hair down, got rid of the horrendous glasses, took off the choker, and fixed her lackluster eyebrows. Might not have that glamorously youthful vibe, but she'd get the job done.
