How's the difference in matches/dating between your modeling days and now? Did you used to get lots of tinder matches when you were a '9'?

It's most probably the social anxiety. When I was in uni, there were quite a few attractive girls I knew that were quite pretty, fit, nice, but didn't have as much luck with men as the 'hot' girls, because they were very quiet/socially anxious, and showed absolutely 0 interest in any men they were interested in. They eventually figured out their confidence/sexy side by end of uni/mid 20s. Normal growing pains, in my opinion. Keep up the gym and self improvement from a social confidence standpoin…

To answer your question, basically, yes. I wouldn't say 'bad', but worse than the other parts of the country More conservatives (more likely to be religious, more weary of outsiders/minorities, dislike of liberal northerners) More people who marry very young and have kids young More single mothers (see point 2) Poorer / less education lack of public infrastructure / heavy car culture means harder to meet up / get drinks with girls who aren't nearby Don't get me wrong, I love a classy southern gi…

No, she is being paid to be there and help you. Sure, maybe there are situations where after you have flirted and established casual banter/rapport, you could ask her out when the 5 courses are finished or whatever. This ain't it pal. You literally just finished class #1

Ha, first time I got laid was thanks to my guitar since she played too and used it as an excuse to go hang out together in a room during a party. So I definitely am with you with it's advantages; I just don't think the average redditor that isn't passionate about music already would play/practice guitar long enough to make an impact on dating in the near future. But if you like music a lot, have been thinking about learning an instrument, sure go for it! It may eventually get you some ladies in …

Learn to sing and play guitar well Key step is well. Most women who aren't total dunces can tell when some dude with 6 months of guitar experience is trying to 'show off' playing wonderwall. Takes awhile to get competent at guitar so while I think music is a great passion thatt all guys here should embrace/learn a bit, I think for most guys here, it isn't the fastest route for women....

I know plenty of people with social circles/friend groups that have IG and have literally no posts like you would. it's no big deal. don't know how this chick would view that but I'll leave it at that.

The entire advice is basically "talk to women that are attracted to you" I feel like it's only possible to have this view if you skipped entire chapters of the book. Isn't the main point of the book focusing on internal game (i.e. confidence, hobbies, dressing well, charisma, social groups, working out, making yourself into a person you're 'proud' of selling to a girl) and how to be more attractive in general? I feel like this was 50% of the book, the other 50% was on the importance of polarizat…

I have nothing against actual feminists. But there's a weird brand of feminism that wants all the perks of being a woman in a traditional society (aka "chivalry") but none of the responsibilities that have traditionally been men's. /r/femaledatingstrategy in a nutshell

What she was getting at is do you have any other interests/hobbies to occupy your time outside of the standard gym, work, study routine? Do you like to read? Play any instruments? Write? Draw? go to exhibits? Travel? Learn languages? etc. There's more to life than gym, work, studying, and bars/clubs.

Meetup groups, fb groups for out of towners, couchsurfing groups (for meeting foreigners), groups for certain hobbies (i.e. NYC definitely has a 'techno/house lovers' whatsapp or telegram you can find).

have so many options to fine happiness in yourself and live life to the fullest. Travel, move, find a hobby, etc. But NEVER worry about dating. Women are repulsed by needy men. When you lack experience, you have unrealistic expectations One issue OP has is actually spending his money though. I've seen this on other finance subs like /r/financialindependence or /r/personalfinance, where people get so addicted to saving they literally don't have hobbies/have fun/go out/travel/etc/etc. Before he ge…

I am not really interested in meeting new people. Literally the only reason I want to try and go out more is to meet women Honestly, changing this mindset is key to not only making it easier to talk to more people and in effect, more introductions to women, but to also becoming naturally charismatic. I was also introverted growing up but learned how I like to socialize and meet people after many years of coming off as shy/reserved.

One of my good buddies is bald, 34, like 5'9 maybe; he is quite popular and makes friends everywhere and has been pulling women recently (after a 2 year rut after breaking up with an ex though). He plays music professionally, a good guy, social, and approaches women effortlessly in public so really easy to make friends with. This is the approach you need, be confident, make friends, expand your social circles, expand your hobbies and become an interesting fun person to be around. Then your insec…

Yea i think video games should usually be seen as entertainment like movies and tv; not a hobby Yep. as much as redditors want to defend gaming, you won't look back 10 years from now and be proud of all the games you beat and all the xbox 360 achievements you unlocked.... compared to what 10 years of guitar or Jiu Jitsu or any other hobby that you actually work towards and improve on (doesn't really happen in gaming unless you're a pro).

Girls like that are best for some fun, definitely not LTR material because they’ll do the same thing over and over. Absolutely. She's actually a good friend and introduced me tons of neighbors so we have lots of mutual friends in the group now. I just want things to go back to normal friendship for now, but she was a great lay too so that'd be nice to rekindle too. Absolutely right about the LTR thing; she admitted to me she's cheated on every bf she ever had so it's an immediate "Nope" on LTR m…

well LDR guy is supposed to come back to this area and was supposed to live with her (across the window from me lol). we were supposed to stop hanging/banging. short story: We didn't. He gets here in a few weeks. Although fresh off the press yesterday, apparently he doesn't want to get back with her so maybe it won't be that awkward, but for now she doesn't want to tallk to me (since her fucking around with me got her bf to leave her).

I had a fling with my neighbor I met smoking a cigarette for 3 months and it was great... until I found out she's in an LDR with another guy. It's a very sexy nice situation but not worth the drama if there is baggage.

Make guy friends or platonic female friends? Have anyone in your social circles you go out with to wingman on nights out?

It seems online dating is a massive waste of time and just a distraction for most men. By comparison, meeting girls in coffee shops, clubs etc I'm easily able to attract beautiful women with good jobs and personalities. The quality of women I get IRL is so much higher than online dating, and the 'effort' is so much less. You know within minutes if you have a decent chance or not. OLD, not at all (even if she is responding to texts).

I think using social media to post a bit of your lifestyle and show your social group/activities is fine. BUT When it comes to posting stories, what type of stories should I post to attract girls and appear as mysterious, fun, and masculine? Do not think like this. This is needy. Don't post only because you're trying to impress some chick.

Thanks. So yeah, a lot of it relates to the same concepts I've used learned and used elsewhere; just not letting the social group be an inhibitor. If you are interested in dating someone in your social circle, best advice I can give you is to be yourself, ask her (interesting) questions, and flirt without being needy. Yeah, my problem here is I personally can take some time after getting to meet a friend/friend of friend before realizing I'm 'into' her, often passing the recommended time to make…

The Centered Man maintains friendships with women whom he genuinely finds interesting and wants to be friends with, regardless if he is attracted to them or not. If a romantic interest rejects him, he does not feel obligated to maintain a friendship with her if he still has feelings for her. If he does not wish to maintain a friendship with a romantic interest, he explains his viewpoint respectfully, prioritizing his self-worth. The Nice Guy willingly acts an emotional sounding board/tampon with…
