Exactly, and not everyone wants to live to work. Some people are absolutely fine working to live. Your career goals are exactly that, yours.

That's technically the truth, but in the moment I just shaked it off like she was saying some real stupid shit (she was).

My ex told me that she thought it was odd I had platonic female friends that I wasn't banging/dating. Like why wouldn't they if there wasn't anything off about me. What's your take on that?

Good on you, but something I thought of at the end is, shouldn't you be able to talk about your feelings? You're a person who's allowed to feel things. I think it's a bad habit to keep it all locked inside. I'm not saying you should bitch all over social media, but maybe go for a walk with a friend or grab a beer or something.

Really? Afaik you should "warm up" before you start your workout and that's why I run or bike. My goal is to lose weight and build muscle.

What I've done in the past is run/bike for 20-40 minutes and then I would do some machine exercises. Arms, back, chest and legs. I usually spent 1-1,5h in the gym. While I was far from min/max:ing my time there I felt good and I loved seeing the results over a few months.

I just bought a 1 year membership at the gym, starting as soon as I get back from my trip. Can't wait!

While I appreciate the steps listed above I do think mental illness should be taken seriously. I'm not saying you're wrong, the mindset it right, but can be hard to adapt for someone who's had to deal with a ton of shit.

video games I mean it's a stimulating hobby just like everything else, I don't see why you'd have to come down so hard on it you know.

I forgot the part where she was being a bitch to begin with when I wrote that. Disregard.

You don't really do like that in a relationship. But I digress, it's in the past and like I said, I learned a lot.

Nope, she's a drama slug who needs to be the victim. When I realized the trap I was in I immidiately changed gears and that's what got me out of that hell. I learned a lot. I don't know what you're trying to say.

No, it means that the other person doesn't tolerate being shit on, which is an attitude I value in a person.

If I did that to a girl here I would get an, "excuse me?!" followed by hell. That shit would definately not fly. I don't see how that can lead to a positive outcome.

It's funny because last year when I got enough of my ex's shit attitude I slowed down, started talking to her like a child and had to go back and reassure her that everything was fine and that she needed to calm down and listen to me, because she wasn't making any sense. I never was one for dumbing things down, but holy shit it worked like a charm. Whatever her arguement was to keep fighting I dismantled her again and again by being rational.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
