...for the most part I agree with her. I think that today should be remembered, the way we remember other senseless spree killings and honor the victims. I do not think it is ok to turn one tragedy into a political campaign with an agenda. All random violence is bad, not just that against women. I had not seen this post until now, nor have I heard anyone state that today's remembrances should be about violence against women.

I am confused by your question. Are you asking if I have integrity? I am not a social scientist, and I seldom use more than a t test or ANOVA in my research. I personally do not condone mis-use of statistical data-knowing how common this problem is in all social science areas, I am extremely wary of trusting ANY social science statistics regardless of what field they come from.

Out of the 3 self-identified MRAs that I know personally, all 3 have now posted about this. I sent them messages asking if they were supporting this in earnest or if they were being ironic, but so far they have not replied. I simply posted here to inquire if other MRAs agree with this point of view (and if so, how many) to satisfy my idle curiosity until they get back to me.

...they don't. Her views are appalling. I've never met anyone who supported it. All groups are characterized by extremists who appropriate labels for their own twisted views. Unfortunately sometimes they scream the loudest.
