Is this satire.

It's the state's way of making both biological parents responsible, in order to decrease the state's burden. The woman's still responsible for raising the kid, too.

In my opinion, he shouldn't at all have to be responsible for an unwanted child and has every right to 'abortion' of his own without consequence or judgment. But the usual argument against 'financial abortion' is that once the child is out there in the world, it's a done deal and the child needs to be fed and clothed, and the individual's responsibility for the kid lessens the burden of the state.

Not a RP Both people's pleasure is important. If the man's pleasure means the woman is happy, then the woman should leave him, and vice versa. "let me fuck you or I'll leave you" It's never said like that in good relationships, but it's implied. If my husband didn't have sex with me anymore (consistently), I'd leave him.

Being nice is the base requirement. That's like being human.

It's fine, I prefer a debt-free virgin man without tattoos.

Personally, I can decide if I want to talk to a man within fifteen seconds. If he doesn't look like the kind of man I'm into, he's a no. But if I decide yes, he can still become a no during conversation. Like, don't guys immediately know if the woman they're talking to is physically attractive to them?

Seriously, do you really think I'm going to ask out a girl taller than me? I probably wouldn't even talk to one. You have issues, and it's not your height. It's your crippling lack of self-esteem.

As if men do, if they're not hot. Countless fat, jobless, mouthbreathing neckbeards want the perfect ten for a girlfriend.

No reason for anyone hot to date down. It's not the essence of hypergamy, it's the essence of attractive people. No one hot needs to date less hot people. Like usually finds like.

Why would I date someone who's not hot to me? I only approach guys who are hot because they're the only ones I want to date, so why go for anyone else?

Yes. Attractive people in general get away with more shit. But it's not unlimited.

I also think some people in the egalitarian camp would say that it's not about having equal power at the same time, it's that the two people in the relationship are willing to accept the roles of both the more dominant and less dominant person within the relationship depending on what's happening. That's definitely how I see it

You do know it doesn't have to be painful or have blood involved, right? And besides, just because initial penetration hurts for one reason or another, doesn't mean the rest will. The only time vaginal sex has been painful for me was when I wasn't properly aroused.

Why does having higher standards equal with spoiled and entitled? There's nothing wrong with having high standards if you're of a high standard... and even if you're of a low standard.

The point is that it shouldn't be that way, and people shouldn't perpetuate the idea. Also, none of what you said is surprising to me whatsoever.

Yup, the date orientation is extra creepy. Always makes me feel off, like grooming the kid into what your ideal of the perfect significant other is. More than a little bit of projection. Same with when parents write they're the only lady/gentleman in their kid's life

Yeah, extra blue pill here. Had a bad taste as soon as I read about that yesterday. She's playing out the fantasy of the perfect gentleman on her young son. Ugh. I'm sure she doesn't mean bad but it just... doesn't sit right with me. She needs to teach him other things than how to be a perfect momma's boy gentleman. Like that men don't have to pay to entertain women.

It doesn't really have to be monogamy. It's just the thought of making the current relationship(s) you're in healthy and strong, so that it's a good basis for raising kids. I'd argue that you can't raise your kids well if the foundation of partnership/marriage is rocky. If you're partnered, be it to one or five people, that's the whole basis of parenting. And if it's rotten, so is the rest of your life. It's also about the fact that you chose your current partner(s). You don't plan on them leavi…

People are different. I think some people aren't so driven reproductively and don't wrap up their identities in biological offspring - even if they have kids. Many people get all focused on kids and lose sight of keeping their primary relationship happy, that's true. Then their kids become their sole identity and when they leave, it's chaos and they realize they have a horrible relationship with their partner. Could never let that happen.

This is a very interesting article and a followup by a woman who has said she loves her husband more than her kids: Truly, Madly, Guiltily By AYELET WALDMAN Update And I for one completely agree. It doesn't mean she would throw them under the bus or that she is a bad person. I chose my partner and I will put our relationship above everything else, because that relationship fosters a good environment for my kids to grow, grow up, and leave as independent individuals. While I will still, hopefully…

It would be much clearer if we replaced gender with sex. Gender can stay a social construct/whateveresle. "Trans people know they need to be the other sex" makes much more sense. For example, "I don't care about gender, but I want to have the same sex organs and look male and have others recognize it."

I'm firmly blue pill and firmly believe that only those who want children should have children. I had an abortion once because the mere thought of having a child made me suicidal. I got rid of the fetus and would have never in my right mind (even if I chose to keep it) imposed on the sperm donor that he be a father if he doesn't want to. If you want a kid, have it with someone who wants it or have it yourself. If abortions are legal and easy to get to, both parties should be able either abort or…

So, you'd say the same thing to the woman? No abortions and be careful who you have sex with?

Yup, it's the same here in my country. There's no university culture. It's just a place where you go to study.

On sex? I don't mind if minors sleep with older people as long as they're safe and not pressured. I think sexual pleasure is just a type of pleasure like any other and could be enjoyed among all kinds of people in all kinds of ways, as a fun thing to do. If it weren't for the fluids and STDs, I wouldn't mind seeing people getting it on in a park or during lunch hour. I think gender is just a big ball of confusing nope and I'd be happy with wider classification of sex based on different chromosom…
