I'd first read the title as "Will I ever be over Jay Leno?" and suddenly got very, very worried.

My ex used to joke that he knew how to make two things in the kitchen: ice and hot water. Once I was super pissed because he kept leaving his dirty clothes all over the floor, so I asked him what he would do if we were no longer together. His answer? "My mother would do that for me". 🤡🤡🤡

Well no, it said that surgeons figured out that shaving prior to surgery increased infections in surgical sites. And why do you think that happens?

The article also mentions that surgeons shaving a body part prior to surgery increases the risk of infections, so it's not a question of women not knowing how to use a razor.

This reminded me of the times I went to a (now ex) friend of mine. When I used the bathroom there for the first time there was no soap on the sink, so I opened all the bathroom drawers and cabinets but still couldn't find any. For some reason, I was ashamed (!?) of asking him where the soap was, so I ended up furtively washing my hands on the kitchen sink. The second time I used the bathroom there (yes, there was a second time) the same thing happened, but by that time I've had enough so I ended…

I was actually trying to say that making eye contact with people is quite hard for me, especially when it's with a stranger.

What do you do when eye contact (especially with strangers) makes you really uncomfortable?

You didn't specify in the poll if the children were biological or adoptive, so I believe it's already inclusive of them :-)

If pressed to answer why you two are not friends anymore, you could simply tell them exactly what you've told us here: "I have a policy of not speaking badly about others when they aren't around". A word to the wise is enough. However, I agree with the other commenters here in that you should try to warn any girls he might be pursuing next. You don't even need to tell them your whole story at once, and could start the conversation by asking them questions about his behaviour towards them. After …

The story is even worse than that. His rich parents were able to get him a lawyer who was able to get him declared "legally insane". He was ordered by a French court to be indefinitely held in a mental institution but was freed after spending just five years in a Japanese institution. After being released he became a sort of minor celebrity, being invited to parties where he openly boasted about his crime and he even wrote a book about the murder.

Good mom: cooks, cleans, helps with the homework, does the laundry, irons clothes, takes out the trash, puts kids to bed, runs errands, takes kids to the doctor and a bunch of other things. Good dad: heats chicken nuggets.

When I was in college I once went to an event with my then-boyfriend and some of his friends and he had agreed beforehand to accompany me to my psychiatrist appointment afterwards. When it was time for us to go he told me he had changed his mind and wanted to stay in the event with his friends. Neither of us was familiarised with the neighborhood, but that didn't prevent him from putting me on a bus and making me find my way to the nearest subway station by myself.

Way more disturbing IMO was this woman who got her boyfriend's name tattooed in FIVE-INCH high letters across her face. Less than 24 hours after they first met. Oh, and the asshole himself was the tattoo artist. https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/man-tattoos-his-girlfriends-face-the-first-1586449

He, after 6 months of dating, straight up asked me if “I’d continue to fuck him after he got married to a daughter of a senior officer since how he wants to climb up the ladder Let me guess: but at the same time he also claimed all women were gold-diggers, right?

Most of those people consider themselves so open-minded and progressive but their advice is so similar to the ones you would receive from your conservative grandmother who thinks marriages should last forever and that you should stay married to your shitty husband for the rest of your life.
