You tried to take the conversation private away from other people so you could give her a more stern talking to. Then basically you kick her out for the night. Those are just two amongst many actions where you’ve spoken from your perspective so I imagine from hers it might come across even more aggressive
What the hell are you going on about. I just said if you’re being abused you’re not “complaining” you’re bringing up a real concern. Abuse against men and BOYS are rarely openly talked about and there are less resources. Men can be hurt while not defending themselves too ie domestic abuse.
I meant that’s living in a perpetual state of arrested development. I’m unsure if that could ever lead to a fully complete life for some who don’t want to be infantalized. It goes to the logic for example, you never have to leave your parents if they have enough money to care for you. The right to vote isn’t as important as the right to own property and be your own person. When you say die for nothing: this is war we are talking about. Women served in the world wars and while perhaps not as much…
The thing is you DO. And I wouldn’t say complain since domestic abuse situations equate more to than just complaining. Y’all can compare who has it worse all day. The reality was that while men had taxes back in history and hella responsibilities women were also considered property in western and eastern cultures. You BOTH can have it bad I don’t know why this doesn’t register to anyone why are we competing over shitty things our ancestors went through in history?
I don’t think that’s what they’re saying. There are issues that men don’t have as much level in, for example in situations with assault. But no I would not want to be born a woman and passed around like property.
Also not being able to vote or have property though...I think the consensus is if I were to be able to choose we all just would collectively choose not to be born at all point blank.
That’s cause you can’t tax women if you don’t let them own money in the first place lol. Women couldn’t own land or have a bank account for a lot of history.
Yeah there’s a lot of confusing parts of that story. If she was drinking and had her memory compromised things must have been unclear for everyone involved
I would say America is a semi rape culture. Young men and boys who are assaulted are usually encouraged to keep quiet about it. Adult males as well. If America is not more open to accepting and helping male victims then it is a sort of rape culture
Yeah but you just made the point that “witch” which was a bad thing is associated with mostly women so what does that say about etymology of the whole word in the first place lol. But yes the Salem Witch trials is actually mainly known for McCarthyism and collective paranoia. Never associated as men kidnapping and killing women.
I kind of don’t see anything wrong with it though. Cars are a luxury item and renting a sports one can be an experience of its own, like booking a fancy hotel.
This just sounds like you’re also sexist to men. Why are you reducing men to either only sex driven beings or “betas”. There IS such a thing as a good man, you know.
I think that you cheated and feel bad about it lol or are thinking about it. Also why are we infantilizing men and making it seem like men can’t control basic impulses...
I would find one thing I was really good at, or liked and developed that into something more impressive. Whether it be charity or a job. Goal is to be the best in your small field
Because men usually treat sex like it’s theirs when it takes two bodies and two people. Those omen complaining about commitment aren’t magically going to get relationships because they complain either though.
I think you assume a small group of louder women represent all women which just isn’t the case. There are lots of women who aren’t like what you describe, they just aren’t as noticeable or loud.
Social BS? Also a man or a woman can have a difficult job. Work in emergency services for example that’s arduous plus having a mental toll. But this commenter is just saying that if you earn more money AND you’re taking care of most of the housework, you’re essentially just doing more, period. No matter gender this applies
I’m going to say if most women or all women you approach are too cautious of to you, maybe it’s not ALL women that have bad judgement, it’s because you are the one scaring them
I mean if that’s what you want then only settle for that. People have different types of specialities and behavior stemming from backgrounds or even trauma. But if men want to have only that type of woman then that’s their choice too
I think for women it might feel more romantic to believe in the serendipitous and fate with a guy. That doesn’t discount either gender’s experience though.
We’re talking about people in the entertainment industry here. Standards apply to both men and women. However, normal people are not held to the same standard, regardless of gender. Not sure why you’re this bitter...
Yoga is part of the Hindu practice. I find that a lot of western people who participate in religious eastern practices do not know or understand the seriousness of it, therefore only practicing the westernized version. Yoga is now accessible to everyone as well so anyone can get into it now.
