Is "the wall" something that really happens to women and affects them more than men?You will likely look very similar from 25-35. This wall of which you speak is more of a gradual change. I don't think people look worse till well into middle age, maybe even past that. There definitely is a limit to fertility in terms of age but not overall love and attraction. It does affect women more as men are fertile longer. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/09/22 12:44 AM
Do women realize how little maintenance men need to be statistically faithful?Cheaters cheat because it's part of their personality; it has nothing to do with the partner not working hard enough to please them. They could always break up and then get with someone who shares a similar sex drive instead of betraying their current partner. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/04/22 09:50 PM
How to lower standards?Very true. But you could also be with someone you are physically attracted to and there is no spark as well. But also do you think that those they were not attracted to but date and become attracted also had a little attraction to begin with? It doesn't necessarily mean that person is/is not conventionally attractive, just that their partner finds them attractive in some way. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/04/22 12:54 AM
How to lower standards?Good point, but I mean it could be a personal bias, or there is also the chance that their personalities aren't compatible and sadly they never find them cute. I mean, I'm not saying they should be shallow, but to date someone you're not attracted to might hurt them because deep down they sense it and it can take a toll on their self-esteem. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/04/22 03:21 AM
How to lower standards? It would be immoral to date someone you find unattractive, but you don't have to lower your standards if you simply increase your dating pool. Maybe try different locations? ie if you're looking mostly within 20 mins of you maybe increase it to 45 mins-1 hr? Or whatever the max is that you'd be willing to reasonable commute. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/04/22 04:33 PM
Is height preference more than just physical attraction?Yes, I think it has to do with feeling protected as well :3 | /r/PurplePillDebate | 03/04/22 06:56 PM
Women, how often are you approached by men? How do you usually react when it happens? Not often, I've been told a few guys have a crush on me, but they rarely approach. When they do approach, I feel a bit uncomfortable but flattered. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/03/22 12:47 PM
Serious question. What TRULY is the point of marriage for men?I tend to agree with some of this, save for the fact that I've seen people have healthy families and not get married at all, or the childless marriage. Perhaps that is the exception, not the rule. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/03/22 07:15 PM
Are fat man the only hope for women that want a man that does not cheat?I agree with you on most points. It does hurt women more to be fat than fat men... And another thing, is does it affect fat, successful women more than skinnier, successful women? Would a man be more threatened by a heavier woman in the workplace who outranks him? Or would he see a more conventionally "attractive" woman as more of a threat because she doesn't "need" him? He may harbor anger against the fat woman, because she has succeeded where he has struggled but would he also resent the thinn… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 10/03/22 05:03 PM
Are fat man the only hope for women that want a man that does not cheat?Hmm so it's ok for men to be fat but not women because of health reasons... Yeah I feel this is a bit problematic Society generally shares the view that fat = unattractive and unhealthy But quite honestly to punish a woman for being fat MORE just because she CAN lose weight is a bit sexist....men have access to the same services, dieting, drugs, etc than women do Maybe it isn't as easy again for fat men to gain support as diet pills, etc is not as "masculine" Also most of the above is a generali… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/03/22 06:56 AM
| – | Are fat man the only hope for women that want a man that does not cheat? This is mostly accurate, and I don't write this to invalidate your feelings or say that fat women suffer more than fat men. Sometimes fat women have trouble losing the weight because, like some fat men, it isn't possible or isn't easy. And some do not want to. It's true there are successful fat women, but you also have to fight the image that society has of a successful woman. But a fat man can be seen as successful. Not saying that the struggle for fat men is any easier due to opportunity...the… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/03/22 10:44 PM |
| – | Are fat man the only hope for women that want a man that does not cheat?I see what you mean. And not exactly hypocritical, but it is your personal (and generally accepted) opinion. Also, fat men seem to be not considered as "attractive" as thinner men, but the pressure is much higher for women to be thinner. Yeah, I feel it's true about the guy with his own place to live/car is a priority and it also makes sense...but I feel like having a good job also trumps having an apartment, etc. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/03/22 09:42 PM |
| – | Are fat man the only hope for women that want a man that does not cheat?Hmm you may be on to something with the fact that it seems women select average (or even "ugly"), more successful guys than good-looking successful guys. But is that due to bias because they mistrust good-looking guys or because there are simply not as many good-looking guys? I've seen a guy who is very attractive and struggles with the dating scene. He also is successful and has a good personality. Although this is anecdotal evidence it could be that women feel more threatened by that and thus … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/03/22 05:31 PM |
Are fat man the only hope for women that want a man that does not cheat?lol why did I write fat women? I meant all women and interesting points hypergamy for women, men or both? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/03/22 08:42 PM
Have women become more sexist over time?I think it's possible due to available platforms for those who are sexist to express their views and influence other women... | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/03/22 02:45 AM
Are fat man the only hope for women that want a man that does not cheat?I don't think so. Fat men aren't more likely to be faithful or treat fat women better than thinner men... | /r/PurplePillDebate | 07/03/22 02:38 AM
