The world owes you nothing for just existing. Work hard and your circumstances will change. It won’t be overnight. It takes years of hard work to pull yourself out and to be where you want to be. People aren’t born with skills. Skills are learned. If you practiced one new skill an hour a day you would be an expert at it in a year.

There’s a million factors to dating but so many people get caught up on blaming height. Sure some people have preferences. You can’t win them all and feel bad about yourself because you have different genes. The grass isn’t greener on the other side is all I’m trying to say. You will get rejected if you are short by some and you will be rejected because you’re tall by others. Being tall isn’t a win-all like so many people on here think.

You’re not helping by perpetuating that myth.

Bruh, I’ve been rejected because of height. I’ve legit had girls tell me “No, you’re too tall for me.” The grass isn’t greener we’ve just gotta learn to work with what we have.

Dating has nothing to do with height. Dating is a struggle being 6’3” and skinny as well. The modern world just isn’t conducive to dating. Technology has really fucked everything up. Just live your life and don’t be obsessive about women’s validation

Yeah, she just missed the toxic. I treated her right and it made her uneasy because I wasn’t hitting her or punching holes in the wall. Some people just don’t want to be loved.

Yeah well I was hours away from the city where i lived and already prepaid the hotel for two nights and the concert ticket. I felt stuck. I was minutes away from just blocking her and moving on because believe me that 4 hours sucked. Live and learn

First one I asked her out, it was an excoworker and we had been friends for a while. I made reservations for two at her request. She was late for the date but she arrived with two friends so I had to go to the hostess and ask for a bigger table. I could tell she wasn’t interested so I showed interest in her single friend which went somewhere but ended up being fucked up in the head and banging her abusive ex on the side. The second was a girl I met at a bar once. We were talking about music and …

There are no rules man. You attract those most similar to you whether you like it or not. Physical beauty doesn’t always follow it. I’m betting these “attractive” women that are with boring guys are generally pretty boring as well. Being physically attractive doesn’t automatically make someone an interesting person. Want someone boring then be boring. If you want someone nice be nice. If you want someone interesting then be interesting. Don’t get caught up in how people physically look- you’ll m…

The problem is when I drink, I can’t get it up. It’s a sad thing that the thing that lowers inhibitions also thins our blood and causes ED.

The most chance you have of meeting new people is through the trust of another person. She probably has female friends that you could eventually meet. It’s a long game, short game only exists on TV because movies are only 2 hours long. Real people don’t meet and bang the same day

Sure the end goal shouldn’t be to seduce women, but with my strong libido I damn well better figure that one out first before I can be able to focus on any other goals

Most girls are short. Most girls don’t want to feel short. Most girls will date shorter men if they are short. I get rejected all the time as a tall man and told I’m too tall at 6’3”. It is what it is.

Dude it has nothing to do with looks and height and everything to do with knowing how to talk to people. I’m a 6’3” white guy and in modern society I’m just background noise and invisible. Nobody has ever come up and started a conversation with me. The only time people talk to me is if they want my money. I have the courage to talk to anybody and do so often, but more often than not I just run out of stuff to say and it ends awkwardly.

Life isn’t perfect no matter how hard we try to make our lives perfect. If perfection ever exists it is in a moment. But all life is is random energy moving matter. Things can be perfect for a second but things are always changing and everything is temporary. The biggest lie we ever told ourselves is that we could make a woman permanently ours through a legal construct like marriage. Just enjoy what you have today because no matter how great it is today, it will always end.

Thats the trick isn’t it? These days everywhere is a sausage party. I feel like after lockdown most women just prefer to stay in their homes being homebodies. Especially when dick is only a swipe away for them. Got any suggestions on where to find women in the wild?

I guess that makes sense why the “smart kids get bullied” and why it’s cool to act dumb growing up. People realize that and want to drag others intelligence down as to not have to compete with them.

That sounds like you’ve never met a girl in your life. Yes, comparing normal humans to the storyline and perfect bodies of women in porn makes reality feel like shit. That’s not how life works. Get to know people before you judge them. Everyone has something special about them.

Why are so many people obsessed with height on this sub? Height has no advantage, if anything it’s a deterrent. People are intimidated by height, I’ve been rejected a lot and they straight up tell me “you’re too tall for me”. Stop focusing on a physical attribute that you cannot control.

Using dating apps is scraping the bottom of the barrel, the leftovers. Your perspective is skewed because dating apps aren’t real. Their algorithms only show us certain types of people too.

Where is being a wife promoted? Hollywood? It’s everywhere. Why do women just want commitment? Because they’ve been sold a Disney fairy tale happy ending and a Prince Charming.

Great question. I wish we could switch places. I seem to attract only women that would be good wives but I’m so frustrated because I don’t want that, I’ve already been there done that. All I want is to attract sluts but they aren’t attracted to me.

I’ve lived in both and Austin has waaaaay worse traffic than LA. One 3-lane freeway in comparison to LA’s many 8-lane freeways. Infrastructure is awful. 2 complete months in 2019 where tap water was undrinkable due to contaminants. It Wasn’t built to be that big.

Maybe because men have no idea how attractive they are. Women are taught from a very young age that their value is determined by how they look. Men are taught that their value comes by what they can do and how useful they are. As a man I know how to judge my usefulness but I have no idea how to judge my attractiveness.

Just because you’re not interested in dating someone doesn’t mean you have to drop them. Being friends with someone is different than ‘being in the friend zone’

You’re forgetting one thing. Shy, low confidence, skinny/fat, not stylish, and nerdy men can get women. But it’s usually women with those traits as well. It’s harmful to label an entire group of people when there are people that lie at every degree of the spectrum. That’s like me saying, “ALL women have it so easy. They can get dates and sex whenever they want”. That’s not a true statement either. Just the confident and attractive ones. There are women that struggle in this aspect too.

There is a huge misconception with alcohol. People assume that people who drink do so because they are depressed. That’s a weird stigma that just isn’t true. I enjoy my life sober but I do enjoy adding to my life with a bit of alcohol. I see it as more of an additive than an escape from reality. Drinking when you are depressed will just make you more depressed. Obviously my experiences are different than yours but in my city most people go to breweries and classy bars to enjoy artisan craft drin…

I could say the same thing about women. I think the internet and media has exaggerated the amount of men willing to engage in endless casual sex too. It’s the few that are vocal that get heard. Most men don’t have much luck on dating apps, it seems that the creeps and sexually forward guys get the matches. So, women that have experienced catcalling or unsolicited dick pics, that really isn’t the norm in the realm of men either. Most men I know are respectful of women and want to get to know wome…

This 💯. As a 26 year old man I confirm this. As silly as it sounds I’ve seen the transformation of the world and what technology has done to us. Going to college as a freshman before smartphones took over was amazing. It was perfectly acceptable to talk to strangers and make friends with anybody, even random people you saw while walking to class. It was easy to meet people and get dates. By the time I was a senior, smartphones has taken over. Everyone was in their phones. Nobody would say hi to …

Having not gone to a real college in the US, is college actually like that? I worry that Hollywood has warped my view of college with Spring Break and party frat house movies. You say ‘most college guys’ are consistently having sex. Is this a fact? Or is this an assumption? I’m genuinely curious. Just turned 26 and still have no luck with women.
