Then the test worked. Now you know she's not interested. If she was, she would make time.

You should propose a day and time (granted, the next day is pretty short notice). And it's either a yes or no from her at that point. If it's a no and she doesn't explain or propose an alternative, she's not interested. Move on. If you really can't move on that quick, don't propose an alternate right away. Give it a week and then hit her up again with a day and time. And if it's a no again, then you really need to move on.

Why don't you source your data for "many"? How many is that exactly? You used the word that you seem to know so much about. Back it up.

You don't get to claim "injustice" for other people who have made no issue about it. And again, the fine for the NHL team had nothing to do with this issue. So in all these locker rooms where you have to shower in front of anyone, how many women have been staring at the guys showering? None, right? So neither of us has ever seen it. How many women reporters are actually talking or in sight of naked men in the locker rooms? None. And you're example about taking naked pictures in the LR? First of …

I've never in my life been in a locker room that was in full view of the showers. And I guarantee the ones those athletes use are nicer than what I use. Have you ever been in a locker room? In my league, we change clothes in the lcoker room. The women usually jump back into the shower area, WHICH IS PRIVATE, if they need to change their bra or underwear. Most of the guys just turn to face the wall and throw their jock on. Or they can jump into the shower area as well. And like I said, showers ar…

I disagree. But glad you can read the minds of all men....that's a nice talent to have. Becasue most men I know don't care. Nudity is not that big of a thing to most of us. Espeically those with the bodies of professional athletes. And to be fair, most of them don't have their junk out in the open. They have towels.

The real question is how the men and women feel about it? You trying to go on some crusade about privacy violations when the men in question don't care is just grandstanding on your part. (Your hockey comment shows you don't really know what is going on, as that has nothing to do with your argument). I have women on my hockey team that get ready with us in the LR. None of us care. If you ever end up in a locker room with women, then you can have this discussion with that organization and deal wi…

I see posts on here all the time about this sort of thing. Why do so many of you care about what women talk about? I don't work in a female-dominated space, but I am in them quite frequently, and this never bothers me. I honestly view them as children who are upset about something and just venting. And I feel sorry for them that they can only attract crappy men.

Your issue is: "something like FWB or a boyfriend and girlfriend relationship" FWB only works when she knows you're not going to complicate it by getting feelings. They are a lot of fun because you both trust each other and can be totally open about fetishes and things because there is no judgment or worrying about "losing" them.

Serious question and not meant to be a flame.... Read your post and tell us what in there adds value to the life of any woman? Do you think women sit around fantasizing about sitting in your apartment watching you play video games? Most people date to add something to their life. You're not offering them anything.

That's why I specifically clarified "I'm not saying you shouldn't listen to advice"....

You're going to hate this, but anytime a man says "I did everything people told me to do", I already know you're not going to succeed. Because women don't go for men who have to be told how to do everything. I'm not saying you shouldn't listen to advice, but it's a mindset. If you can't be your own man, women will be able to tell. And that's not attractive. Most women would rather you be your own man imperfectly than be with someone who is just "doing what he is supposed to do".

No, stepping up means being the manly man you were born to be. To not give up on the dating world and rolling over by suppressing your masculinity. Do you know what the most popular women's fantasies are? Have you read the "romance" novels that so many women read? They WANT masculine men.

That was my point. People used to come here looking for advice and support. OP asked a question. I gave the answer. Never said it's right. Never said I agree with it. But it is the answer to his question whether you like it or not. The better question is why does anyone give a shit. This sub has fallen so far. all it is now is a bunch of whiny bitches saying, "Why can women do this and people yell at us if we do it". Be a man and live your own damn life without worrying about how others see you.

You asked why. I told you why. Didn't say anything was right, so calm the fuck down. And history does matter. Go ask the Germans if they can get away with certain things today based on their history. Go start a whites-only group in the US and see how that goes over. People don't ignore abuses of power in the past. You say today is different? Well yes, it is different. Because they don't let men do that to women anymore.
/r/MensRights11/11/24 09:21 PM

The primary reason(s): First, women were discriminated against historically. They couldn't even vote. Or own property. So yes, there are still some vestiges of that in society. Pretty much the same reason we don't have any "whites only" things in the US, but we have plenty of organizations for blacks and other minorities. Second, men do tend to hit on women in the gym more frequently than the other way around. Maybe you don't, but I'm in the gym a lot and I see it pretty much every other day. So…

Most feminists are either gay or hideous, so not sure how many this is going to impact. And the ones that aren't only date soy boys, so again, not really going to affect the average man.

Who cares? More bitches for the rest of us. /s (a little) Young men are being raised by single moms and female teachers. The argument you will get is that child support doesn't require the child to be biologically yours. The governments have made rules about who has to pay to support children. And there are ways you can get out of it. But if you don't confirm, that's sort of on you.

No, you don't have to be a father if you don't want to be. Nobody can make you. And you're not being "punished". If you fuck women without protection and you don't have the sort of relationship where you can trust she won't keep the baby, that's on you. Wear a fucking condom or pull out. It's not rocket science. And you guys blow this shit way out of proportion. The real answer is going to piss you off. Men have no say in abortion. That is settled law. It is what it is. The rest of us aren't going to pay to support a child you made with a woman. You may claim it's not your responsibility and that can be argued, but it's damn sure not everyone else's. There is no gray area there. So, knowing you're on the hook financially if you get her pregnant and she decides to keep it, the decision to have sex is in your court. The rules are out there and you know th…

No woman who has ever been face to face with a bear in the wild would answer this way. They would run to the nearest man and stand behind him. The problem is that you are taking it literally and this is really just some BS exercise that women like to go through. Especially 19 year old girls.
/r/MensRights07/05/24 03:30 PM

You might not like it, but let's be real and define "value" What is a man's "value" to others or to society? Not including your friends, just in general. It's what we provide. Whether that be labor in an essential field or protection for those weaker than us. There isn't much else. Women have a higher innate value as they can give birth and that's extremely important to any species. A couple of men can repopulate with a bunch of women. It doesn't work the other way around.

Men do what they want and vent about what they want. They don't care about how others perceive them. If you do, that's one of the main reasons you are struggling. Bitch and moan about what I just said all you want, but women are fine with all kinds of things that are considered "below standards" as long as the man owns it. Being confident in who you are is one of, if not the biggest thing that women find attractive. Think about all the ugly fat women who call themselves a 10. And the other women…

They are getting the "milk for free" today. They get wined and dined and have sex available whenever they want it with whomever they want. And most of all, the attention and validation most women seek is so readily available with social media. They can literally get virtually every need they want met without having to get married.

I read the article and I am trying to figure out what this has to do with Men's Rights? Sounds like a bunch of women want to be approached and aren't and this course is teaching them how to let men know they are open to being chatted up? I don't see anything wrong with the course or what it has to do with this sub?
/r/MensRights21/02/24 03:10 PM

You even see it in pop culture. Was at a karaoke bar and some girls started singing Carrie Underwood's song "Before He Cheats". And all of these women in the crowd are singing along with her. And I was just thinking, if a man wrote a song about vandalizing his ex's car with a bat because she cheated, I don't think it would be a big hit.
/r/MensRights13/02/24 03:19 PM
1

When has a woman you approached actually told you that? Again, I'm calling BS on the "oh poor me, women all say we're <rapist/cat calling/sexualizing them/misogynist/etc> whenever I'm just trying to say hi". If you're truly getting that response, then you are putting off some weird vibe and need to work on your social skills. And this still has nothing to do with men's rights.
/r/MensRights13/02/24 03:12 PM

It's much easier for people to label something with a negative label than to actually have to discuss things on their merits. You see this with toxic masculinity, but also with any political issue. If I want to debate abortion, I will automatically be labeled a right-wing fascist who wants to control women. Then they can just argue that I am evil rather than actually discuss reasonable limits on abortion. Or if I don't think we need to tax the rich more than we already do, I'm a greedy capitalis…

The normal range is extremely wide, but that can't be taken in a vacuum. If you are having symptoms associated with low T, then that low number you have becomes more of a factor. And yes, higher is usually better. I was at 445, but had several symptoms of low T. Started TRT and they all went away. It was a game-changer. They are workout clothes. You do understand that men and women have different styles of dressing? Nobody would care if you worked out in compression clothes.
/r/MensRights12/11/23 02:45 PM

I completely understood it. You think that if she dresses in a way that she likes and gives her confidence, that entitles you to do whatever you want and.not be responsible for it because you couldn't help yourself. And that's BS. Be a man and learn how to behave.

I am a guy. I have been for 50 years. And yes, we have the urge to look at a nice ass. But looking is not the same as staring. There is a difference. We also have the urge to have sex with those women. That doesn't mean you do it if she's not interested. We're not animals in heat. But either way, nobody said anything about a crime.

Not sure I agree with your premise, but here is my take based on life experience. What women want in a spouse or partner is not usually the same thing as what prompts a sexual response. Yes, they can be turned on by a good partner, but sexual attraction for women is in their mind as much as anything else. And the same guy isn't going to create that sexual tension/emotion after a certain number of years. Almost every woman I know has had sex (or really wanted to) with guys because they couldn't r…

Depends on where you live, but in the US, yes. The legal part of the marriage is just the signing of the marriage certificate and the license. All the rest of the typical wedding ceremony is the religious or symbolic part. But, if you live together for a period of time, common law marriage typically kicks in where the state says you are basically married, so you can still be bound by things like division of assets, etc if you split.

Get a prenup. But it has to be fair and she has to have time to review it with her lawyer. But understand that by fair, I mean if you cheat, she is going to get half of everything. That's 100% on you. If she cheats, she gets a minuscule amount, but probably still half of what you have earned since marriage. Nothing cringeworthy about that statement at all. Would you divorce your wife if she quit having sex with you? Would you divorce her if she just became fat and lazy? But for some reason you expect women to stay married to men that go to shit? You're a loser and you're defending losers.

Yes, they initiate more divorces. And men cheat and beat their wives more frequently. Are you going to deny that? Women don't divorce solid men. Men let themselves go to shit and then whine when she isn't attracted to them anymore. And it goes both ways. There are plenty of wealthy actresses and stars that get taken to the cleaners in divorces.
/r/MensRights06/08/23 12:33 AM

The purpose is to join assets and provide security in order to raise a family. No woman is going to give up working to raise your kids and then when you cheat or become abusive, be stuck with the choice of leaving and becoming homeless or staying in the abusive situation.
/r/MensRights05/08/23 02:36 PM

Then don't marry someone who doesn't work or makes less than you? You guys are making shit decisions about who you marry and then crying about it later. Own your shit. If you marry someone and your intent is for them to stay at home and take care of the house and raise kids, you're at risk for supporting her.

I can have more than one reason to support a position. And how does that change my point? I'm saying the new law is a good idea because of the existing situation. That is completely consistent with every post I have made.

If that withdrawal impacts both of their taxes, which they can both go to jail for not paying, I am 100% in favor of it. And I think you are mistaking actual communal property laws with how the courts view assets. Most courts will view income as community property in all states. And since the income is being diverted into the 401k, that money belongs to both of them. Again, you guys are fucking idiots if you get married and aren't prepared to deal with combined assets.
/r/MensRights04/08/23 11:39 PM
1

It has nothing to do with being a leech. You are completely ignoring the primary purpose of a legal marriage and why these community property laws exist. Don't like it, don't get married. There is literally nothing a marriage does for you outside of joining assets that you can't do without being married.
/r/MensRights04/08/23 11:14 PM

In the US, it belongs to both of them when you get married. Just like any other bank account. And that withdrawal affects HER taxes just as much as it does his. Don't get married. If you do, this is one of the risks you take.

I'm good with this. I know two women who filed for divorce under very reasonable circumstances and their husbands cleaned out the 401k's and it all disappeared, so they got nothing from it. This might be common in the media, but not necessarily true at the school level. My wife works for our local school district and almost every school has at least 1 male assistant principal or principal at the MS level or higher. The staff understands the importance of strong male figures on campus. I do live in a more conservative area, so maybe our women are just more realistic than in some areas, but she has mentioned this multiple times in the past and I've heard from her coworkers as well.

The two bits of gold into her thinking are: Is horribly wounded pride a good enough reason to throw away years of mutual support and, yes, happiness? Yes, it was just wounded pride he was suffering from. /s And the closing. What's the difference with him? We talk and laugh a lot more. We communicate. And I have no reason to ever cheat on him. Your spouse needs to provide you a reason not to cheat? If you're unhappy with the relationship, you work on it or you leave. You don't cheat.

It was Steve Harvey or Dr. Phil that made the comment once that if all of the men you are dating are only interested in sex, then sex is the only value they perceive from "you". There are tons fo very happily married women in the world Emily. Maybe go talk to them and see how they structured their lives to find those men.

Who cares? We all know these guys aren't respected by the women they are simping after. It's less competition for the rest of the men when these guys expose themselves. If you are a strong man, none of this other shit will impact your life in any way. There are plenty of women that are looking for exactly what you have to offer. Just go live your lives and let the rest of them sit around wondering why they can't find anyone.

Here is the issue with what she was doing. She was lumping all men into that group unless she knows them and knows they aren't like that. Well cool. Except that most men she doesn't know are also not a part of that group, but she just doesn't know them yet. But it doesn't help to make those blanket statements that will be assumed true about men unless the woman in question actually knows the guy.

That's absurd. The difference is that a normal person reads the situation and doesn't gawk at her repeatedly. You're not a creep for noticing her and then going back to whatever you were doing. And if you are interested and she doesn't give you any signs that she is, go back to what you were doing. Creeps are determined by their actions, not their looks.

If this is how far you have to stretch to come up with content for an MRA sub, not really sure we need it anymore? Because you don't get to be ill 36 days per year (just assuming 3 days per month) on top of any actual sickness or injury. And that is paid time off according to this law. Many places of work require a doctor's note if you miss a certain number of days. If you're claiming to be that ill, you need to go see someone. But now women can take over a month off per year (again, paid time off). This is fine as long as the law allows the business to give preference to men since they are going to be worki…

Men AND women complain all over the internet that dating the opposite sex isn't worth the trouble. There is a whole movement right now about women who choose to be single because men aren't worth the trouble. The kid is 1000% correct in what he said. Navigating the dating world with women IS difficult, especially as a teenager. When he can get his physical needs met with men, whom he understands since he is one, it makes absolute sense.

These two have been arrested and held, but not charged with anything just because some women have made some statements. How is this NOT a men's rights issue? A couple of women can make a claim and your home gets raided, your property seized, but they aren't sure if they have anything to charge them with yet? And their laws give them a specified period of time you can hold people under these conditions and the court just extended it "because".

I am coining the term woman child. It refers to women that will not accept ANY responsibility for any decision they make in life. Now the fact that she picked a loser who doesn't know how to wipe his own ass is somehow the fault of the entire male species. Every single thing in the world, of which they are the majority, is always men's fault.

Why do you guys continue to entertain this question? It's been answered a million times. But the correct answer is that we can want whatever the hell we want. We have just as much right to preferences as they do. How many times have women been forced to answer for any of their requirements? Here is an ugly truth, but women don't argue logically. They argue emotionally. And you guys are trying to justify to them as if they were men.

I'm not saying this is right, but in reality, if he didn't ask her if he was the biological father, she didn't really scam him? If you just assume you're that father and sign the BC and then start raising the child, that's sort of on you I would think (legally speaking). And once you have accepted the role of father, it doesn't really matter if you are the biological father any longer. Again, I'm not agreeing with this at all. Just pointing out that there are some legal nuances here.

100% disagree. Those there for aesthetics are doing it for themselves (for the most part). It's okay to want to look good and improve your self-confidence. And that has benefits in all relationships (sexual, business, casual, etc). One of the things this sub does is treating women like men with regard to relationships. Sure, women like hot guys. But that is not the primary driver in what they find attractive. A guy that has a certain way about how he carries himself, the way he talks and how he interacts with others is going to stand out much more than any "cute" guy in a room. So it's a hypothetical. You should have said that when I asked. Then to answer the question, yes it would be sexist as you worded it. But I would argue those is rarely the case. For example, a woman I know would probably not consider me a threat just because I'm a man. While a stranger in a hoodie following her at night might feel threatening. But it's not just that it's a man following her. It's the context. And that matters.

Entitled women like you are why we even have to have these discussions. You said it best, "They are entitled to a roof over their head". I already conceded that if you would bother to actually read. They arent entitled to sports cars and country club memeberships.

If you die with no will, yes your kids get your money. That is not the same as saying they are entitled to some percentage of your money while you are alive, which is what child support says. You missed the entire point of my argument and took everything out of context. Nobody is entitled to your property while you are alive. Your final point is complete and total BS. You don't even have to list a father on the birth certificate. And any state with safe haven laws will take the shield from the m…

None of this is true in the US. Your kids aren't entitled to shit. I can spend every penny on everything I want. I don't have to leave anything for them. And if I have I will, I can leave them nothing. I can leave it all to any charity or anyone I want. Your citizenship point doesn't matter. You can acknowledge that the parent is American, but that doesn't mean you have to pay them some percentage of your income. And no, both parents don't have to agree to give a child up for adoption. The mothe…

It's not a punishment to not give them something that is not theirs. If I am the dad and I am around, all I have to provide is food, shelter and clothing for my kids. That's it. They aren't entitled to any of my money or some percentage of my income. But If we're not married, for some reason that changes in your eyes? Now they actually are entitled to my money? AR children born from actual sperm donors somehow entitled to the money of the sperm donor? Or course not.
/r/MensRights18/08/22 03:13 PM

I disagree with your premise. Why does the child have some right to the money of a guy just because he donated sperm? Why are you assuming the mother can't afford to raise a child on her own? Lets' say a child is born to a married couple that makes $30,000 per year household. That's going to be a tough road. Now we have some professional athlete or wealthy guy that hooks up with a girl for one night and never speaks to her again. Why is that child entitled to $100,000 per year? Especially when w…

Most people would rather have an interesting conversation than sit there by themselves unless it was just a bad day or something. Start talking to people. Not just women. You'll learn two things. (#1) How to be a good conversationalist. And (#2), How to tell if someone isn't interested in talking. (It will become obvious after you start talking to people that ARE interested in a conversation.)

I wouldn't engage with anyone that subscribes to this "group think" BS. Men are not a collective. We suffer from evil/bad men just like women do. We have been abused by our employers just like women have. People need to quit making it a man vs woman debate and start attacking actual problems. Because most of the problems we face today impact both sexes.

You're getting downvoted because there is nothing tricky about consent. It is something we begin to understand when we first start playing with other children as toddlers. Everyone understands it can be revoked. Some just don't care.

It probably is a waste of time dating as an average guy. It's always been that way though. So go be above average. You said yourself you don't even try. I will tell you that being above average is extremely easy if you're not completely lazy. But If you're content with where you are, then be content. But most women want to have a family some day and raising your kids is sort of a big commitment. So yes, she is going to want someone that is going to put some effort into life.

I've heard two theories that I tend to subscribe to and they are somewhat related. The first is that the one thing you can't do if you want to keep a woman is to bore her. And bad boys are not boring. And I'll apologize here on the second one as I read it a long time ago and can't quite remember all the details, but it was basically a study of the chemical reactions in the female brain with regards to emotions. And the strength of the emotion was actually more important than the actual nature of…

Your comments about child support are completely inaccurate. It's based on a percentage of the father's income. If he is making good money, it is WAY more than enough to keep the child fed. But you still don't address my initial point? She can claim child support from him, but doesn't have to prove it? If she doesn't want the DNA test, don't collect the child support.
/r/MensRights28/07/22 02:37 AM

Good idea, but... Why is the DNA test up to the mother? The father should be able to challenge paternity. And not sure child support is the right term. It doesn't need to be some percentage of the father's income. It should be some number based on the cost of the pregnancy.

My bad. The way you were whining about looks, I assumed you were referring to something you can't change, like your face. And most people don't use the word "ugly" to describe physique. If you are complaining about being judged on something that is 100% within your power to change, no wonder you have trouble with dating.

It's always said by desperate clowns who don't want to own up to the fact that women truly have deranged dating standards. Even if we accept the point that you make about them finding 80% below average in looks (which I still don't agree with), you're own study points out that looks are not the biggest predictor of mating success, so their dating standards are not unrealistic. Since looks are not the biggest factor disqualifying you with women.

I didn't read what you wrote. As I was responding, you can see the bottom part of the post and that blurb caught my eye, so I included it. But at this point you're just arguing to argue. I made several comments and used the word rape as one example of something in passing as a reply to someone else. It was in no way the focus or topic of my post. And then instead of focusing on what I was saying, you go off on some rant about rape that really had nothing to do with the point I was making.

Sorry, busy weekend, but I will try and read the rest of this later. For now though, your entire premise is flawed because your stats come from OLD. No shit. What part of my third paragraph is mental gymnastics? You truly believe that men paying for dates makes women think they are predatory? I disagree with your other statements as well. Below average is not equal to ugly. Not even close and that's not how statistics work. You don't get to arbitrarily make up the bins. I have looked at the behavior. For 50 years. There are a lot of legitimate men's rights issues. But the dating thing is one that is overplayed here on this sub. Most women still want traditional social roles in a relationship (I said most). That does not mean they want to be discriminated against at work or in their other roles in life.

But that's kind of the issue. A lot of people think we are starting to normalize interpreting male behavior as creepy, when in reality it isn't (or shouldn't be). The VAST majority of men are not rapists, pedophiles, etc. Yet we still normalize rules about not letting them set next to children on airplanes or making fun of them for which exercise machine they want to use. It is rude to badger someone. But I think his response was pretty rude as well. He did basically tell her he thinks women are gold diggers. My issue is that even if she had just ended the date, most on here would still feel the same about her. I don't think the issue is the badgering, I think it is the fact that she wants to know and would actually make it a deal breaker. And 90% of people are going to agree that your job is going to matter to a partner. And not just for income purposes.

Let's start with your second comment...you think our rights are taken seriously? That's the entire reason this sub exists. Now back to the other comment, so what if she kept asking? I would too. No, it's nothing like that at all. There are jobs that would be 100% deal breakers for both sexes. Knowing what some guy does for the majority of his waking hours is absolutely a legitimate question. This is why men's rights get laughed at. There are plenty of legitimate issues to be addressed and when you guys try and turn something completely normal into a sexist issue, it minimizes the real issues.

She asks what he does for work, not how much he makes. That is a completely legitimate question. It's a huge part of a person's life. This has been asked and answered a thousand times. The state can't tell a woman that she can't have a baby. They also can't refuse to support her if she does have a baby. So their only option is to get that money back from the father. The government is NOT going to foot the bill for babies that men don't want to pay for. It's that simple.

Her response would have me moving on. If you truly just expressed concern that it bothered you and she went into defensive mode as you say, she knows she has crossed a line or at a minimum, she doesn't respect you enough to talk about your concerns. She went straight to invalidating them. That's an issue.

They hold very little. Breaking it down as I intended.. If a woman wants to have a baby, she can with almost certainty. She literally just needs the sperm. If a man wants to have a baby, he needs a LOT more. He needs a woman that's willing to have one with him, willing to carry it, willing to raise it, etc. All with him. So he needs more of a mate.
/r/MensRights18/05/22 09:38 PM
2

You are still viewing t from a collective and not an individual standpoint. Sperm is not scarce. You can find it from any man and it isn't hard to get. Pretty much any woman can jump online or go to a club and find a guy willing to donate sperm. Finding a woman to carry your baby is MUCH harder and it should be. She has to carry it. And she's stuck with it. She doesn't even know if you'll stick around.
/r/MensRights18/05/22 09:28 PM

No, I don't think it's unfair. They hold all the cards and control it 100% and I think that is perfectly fair. They are the ones carrying the baby. My point was exactly what I originally posted. Someone said they didn't control it without abortion and I said they still do.

Do you think it is hard for a woman to find a man that will have sex with her? If a woman just wants a baby, that's easy for her. Now the continued support, etc. is much harder to find. But if she just wants to pass her DNA along, that isn't difficult.

It's a made-up term used to justify sexism against men. When feminists don't like something that men do, they claim it is toxic and that justifies forcing men to change. If we just say toxic behavior, then you can't use it as a tool to shame only men.

I agree 100%, but wanted to add a slightly different point of view. You hire people to do a job. If they start taking excessive time off, then you have to get others to cover (do more work for the same pay) or hire people that you won't really need when everyone is present. The other two options are to lose business when you're shorthanded or if you don't lose business and you don't need someone else to cover, then you probably didn't need that person in the first place.

The bigger question here is "Why are you trying to debate them?" Feminism is a blame game and you are the enemy. Of course they aren't going to have a civil discussion with you. You're the issue in their eyes.

I would think lazy people would prefer to open zipper, pee, close zipper? A lot more work to pull pants and underwear down, turn around and sit, stand back up and pull pants and underwear back up, tuck shirt in if needed, rebuckle belt.... If you can't take 10 seconds from your phone to piss, you have bigger issues. On the seat, soft closing are a game changer. Lift it up, but when down you just give it a little flick when you reach out to flush it and it closes softly by itself.

Do whatever you want. I don't care. But when standing up..... I don't have to undo my belt Don't have to tuck my shirt back in Don't have to touch the toilet seat Can see my urine, so know if I'm dehydrated or not Stay in practice for when there is no toilet available (urinals only or outside) I just see zero benefit to peeing sitting down.

90% of it is going to be your improved confidence, not how you actually look to them. I'm older and even getting down to a muscular 200 lbs, but still soft around the edges has gotten me tons of compliments from women. Even to the point where I have been approached in the grocery store. I'm married, so that doesn't matter to me, but it has absolutely boosted my confidence and how I carry myself.

Those types of subs are a very small portion of the people in this world. And they are the last group that needs to be focused on here. Get the rest of the world talking about men's issues and those people become irrelevant.

That was way to much crap for anyone to read the whole thing, but I'm going to provide my input anyway.... Both have uses in today's world. And I am completely on board that gender can be fluid and can be unrelated to biology. We just need to make sure we are clear that some requirements (sports) are based on sex. Women's teams don't exist because we don't want women and men together. They exist for specific biological reasons. Gender is not relevant. On the other hand, things such as dress code…

No, you're missing the point. All a woman has to do is call the anonymous crime line and "say" I was staring at her privates. This myth that there are no women out there that will abuse these laws has to stop. How many proven false accusations would you like me to pull up for you right now? The most recent one was a man accused of rape by his wife (he was divorcing her because she cheated). He had the whole thing on video (her on top of him having sex with him) and STILL spent months in jail and…

Per the article: ‘Staring’ (Sadiq Khan’s bright red public safety warning reads – with ominous eyeballs popping out of the ‘a’ and the ‘g’) that may be construed as ‘intense’ and of ‘sexual nature’ is now ‘sexual harassment’ and ‘not tolerated’. Should anyone ‘see it or experience it’ they are to text the British Transport Police or dial an 0800 sexual harassment hotline if they want to remain anonymous. But "staring" is not the issue. It is "staring of an intense or sexual nature". So no, this …

Actually, no there isn't an OBJECTIVE difference between the two. There might be a subjective difference, but what one person thinks is staring, I can find 10 that think they were just looking. And that is why this is a stupid law. It requires you to read the mind of the person looking at you to determine if they were thinking some sort of sexual thoughts, when they might just walk around looking like that all the time.

I was saving that tidbit for him for later. Saw a post earlier of a guy asking how he could have sex with his gf by holding her when he isn't strong enough to hold her up (this is something she wanted). That's something a lot of women want. Get stronger and you can carry her all over the bedroom.

You are ocmpletely incorrect on virtually everything you said about working out. You'll see great gains within a year at your age. And you don't have to progress beyond looking fit. Most women don't like excessive muscle anyway. Fit guys carry themselves better, sleep better, look better, their clothes fit better....and your image matters, especially with the goals you have listed.

The question isn't about settling for a girl. It's about settling for yourself. 2 of the 4 "flaws" you bring up about yourself can be changed. So change them. Quite settling for below average with yourself and you won't have to be on here asking this question. A short, average looking guy with a great job and good body can absolutely get very attractive women.

Most f them can get much better and more consistent orgasms by themselves. Trying to fins attractive women that want casual sex and prefer average looking guys from dating apps is pretty limiting.

I'm not going to say that marriage is a good deal for most men. It's really not. They do and that is fine. But it looks sloppy. And if you present your public image as sloppy, she is going to wonder how bad your bathroom looks where nobody even really sees it. Reality is what it is. You can trade comfort for appearances. Most women have some comfy sweats and t-shirts that they love, but wouldn't ever leave the house dressed in them. And most workout clothes are fitted, but still allow great movement. You can have clothes that fit and be comfortable. But it takes effort.
/r/seduction09/02/22 04:56 AM

Some will look at your body, but most absolutely will look at how you dress. And that is much easier to do properly if you are fit. Or at least confident in how you look. Most guys try and hide weight with baggy clothes and that will turn a woman off.

Yes and no. I think it really depends on the woman and where you are in the relationship. I think many on here are misinterpreting the question though. Have to disagree here. The human brain likes to work with categories. We do it with everything. Now I would agree the men we refer to as alpha don't go around calling themselves alpha. But when people are looking at success, whether with women or just life in general, and trying to figure out how to improve their own, using categories to group the traits of men that do have success is extremely valuable.

Your statements are only partially correct. First, the man is only at risk financially if he makes/has more than the woman. Second, it is not 50% crap shoot. But that's not the point I was making. It wasn't men against women. It was that most people take precautions against what they perceive to be a threat, even though those threats don't happen to most of us. Most of us will never be mugged. Most of us will never suffer a home invasion. Most of us will never be falsely accused of rape. Most of us will never be raped... But that doesn't mean we have a mental disorder for taking precautions against those things.

That's a completely absurd comment. I don't believe someone is going to break into my house every night, but I still lock the doors and keep a gun handy. I don't believe someone is going to falsely accuse me or my sons of rape, but I have still told them to make sure they are careful to protect against it. The main issue it comes down to isn't so much the staring as it is the fear that results from it. Women are the more common victims of sexual violence. And that sucks. But you can't deny it does happen. I've taught my daughter a lot of "rules" to help keep her safe. Rules that I don't teach my sons. So I don't think you can relate the two scenarios you mentioned. Some women want that. A lot actually. And some men like it. A bunch of them as well. You two are just not a match. There are two reasons to chase something. One is because you like chasing things. Yep. A lot of those guys are assholes that do audits. But a lot of them are pretty good. But at the end of the day, if the police are coming up to you for something you didn't call them about, they are NOT your friends. And no cooperation will make things "go easier" on you. Any good lawyer will tell you they can fight any search or seizure, but not if you went along with it. Once you say "ok", it doesn't matter if they are justified or not, they can do it and use it.

The OP wasn't talking about crimes. If every unwanted touching was prosecuted, half the world would be in jail. You guys keep fighting stupid battles and then crying when you lose. There are legitimate issues facing men, but women sexually assaulting us isn't one of those.

BS. The absolute chances of you ever being falsely accused of rape or being screwed over in family court or dying at work or being a victim off any of the issues that affect men are very unlikely. That doesn't mean we shouldn't be concerned about them.

Yes and no. I think the primary issue of sexual harassment is the feeling of helplessness or fear that comes with it. I don't think men feel that to the same extent that women do, so not sure I would equate the two. I am not saying it is right or okay. Nor is it NEARLY as common....

Men and women are not the same. And they do not face the same issues. Accepting that is not minimizing anything. Sexual assault is a much more common issue for women and it has more serious outcomes than with men. Workplace deaths, prison sentences, false accusations, etc. are issues that men face more often than women. Most women will tell you they have never worried about a false rape accusation against them. Has it ever happened? Probably. It's just not very common, and even if it was it woul…

It's extremely common. Having said that, it's not the same thing. It's still wrong, but there is little chance that said woman is going to follow me to my car and rape me. I can stop her assault anytime I want once I know it is coming.

You actually bring up a point which I don't think you were trying to make. Assuming your point is valid, then "WE" don't get to define what a man is. Every person can apparently do that themselves, even if it makes zero sense to anyone else. So back to OP's point, each man gets to decide for themselves what being a "man" means for them.

I am referring from confidence that comes with being happy with who you are. If your confidence is based on looks or height, it's not what i would refer to as real confidence. Those things are subjective and they won't last. I am talking about being able to approach someone and put yourself out there because you aren't worried about them "judging" you. You take rejection as "I'm not her type" versus "I'm going to die a virgin".

Been married a long time, so I am out of the game, but my boys are just getting started, so I have tried to give them this guidance. Confidence is key in my experience. And that means no games, no rehearsed lines, etc. Know who you are, be happy with that and be genuine. Don't be afraid to be who you are and to show your intent. It's okay for her to know you think she is attractive and wanted to get to know her better to see if there is something there. Being comfortable enough with who you are …

I disagree. They aren't selling comfort. They are selling a seat of a certain size. I'm a bigger guy and don't fit well in small rental cars. I don't expect them to provide me a full size car (for the same price) just so I can be as comfortable in it as a smaller person in a compact. In the picture, he had his foot over to where she couldn't extend her feet under the seat in front of her. And that's his problem, not hers.

WTF? That's like saying they should give fat people two seats free so they are more comfortable. You pay for a seat. If your physical size makes that uncomfortable, spend more. You don't get to take over other people's space just because you feel like it.

Women filing false charges aren't afraid of it because they haven't been through the actual trauma of it. Women that have been raped have been traumatized, and there is often a fear that they will have to relive it in front of a lot of people and not be believed.

I've seen most of those and in almost all of them, the woman finally admitted she lied. That is the only point I am making. If they were facing years in jail, do you really think they admit it? Or do they double down and even if nobody ends up going to jail, the guy is still going to be carrying that around with no public resolution. I understand the support from men on this. Believe, this is one of my biggest efars as my son is about to start college. But these are tough. I have a daughter too and I would never want her to be afraid to come forward about being raped. The other problem I have is that many women lately have been recanting after more and more comes out. Their parents ignoring the behavior is toxic parenting, not toxic masculinity. As for being stoic, they were 100% correct. That's why I think it's an important trait to have. Bullies thrive on the response. Don't give them what they want and it WILL eventually stop. That doesn't mean you don't pursue other avenues to address it through parents and/or school officials. Do you think showing emotional weakness or outrage would have solved the problem?
/r/MensRights16/01/19 05:34 PM

Let's stick with bullying as the prominent example. You ask ANY woman or parent of a teenage girl who suffers more from bullying. If it's not worse among girls, it's at least as bad. It takes a different form, but causes just as much emotional pain. So why do we only put this on masculinity? I'm curious who told your parents that boys will be boys? I'm willing to bet it was their mothers. I have 3 kids (almost grown) and have been coaching youth sports for 15 years. And I can tell you straight u…

I actually disagree about the toxic aspects of masculinity. Masculinity is a set of traits and it is not the same as behavior. I can't think of anything I would define as masculine that is toxic by its very nature. You can call it semantics, but I am tired of us adding a qualifier to words and having it completely change the meaning of the word. It's not a retarded bias because women police officers cant' shoot a couple of large men who are unarmed just because they are bigger than her. She can only use deadly force when confronted with deadly force. A taser helps if there is only 1 person, but not 2. You can nitpick my examples if you want, but at the end of the day, women look to men for protection when they feel threatened. If you have never had to do that, then great! I'm glad you have never been in a situation that needed it.
/r/MensRights16/01/19 03:10 PM

Ask them who they turn to when they need protection as an adult? If someone is breaking into their house at night, they damn sure don't' want a 5' tall 100 lb policewoman showing up. They don't look to their girlfriends for protection from some scary dudes at a bar. They want men to protect them. When they need that aggressive masculinity, they have no problem with it. But if we try and teach our boys to fight so they can be protectors someday? Bad parenting and toxic behavior.

I read some of that post and my biggest issue was that they conflate "precaution" with "fear". Things like not accepting a drink from a stranger or not walking home alone late at night. Men take precautions as well, not because of rape concerns, but men are the victims of violent crime significantly more than women are. My biggest issue with these types of laws is that salary is typically negotiated. If they offer a man $50,000 and he says "no, I need $55,000" and they give it to him. Then a woman is offered the same $50,000 and is willing to take it, are they now going to get fined?

Two main reasons this happens. The most likely is that she wants your attention and validation. All you have to do is spend 5 minutes on social media and you will see how important validation is to (most) women. Not making a judgment, it's just how things are. The other common reason is that by extending the friendship offer, she is not being the bad guy and just rejecting you. It puts it in your court to cut off relations because apparently, all you cared about her for was sex. These are obviou…

Getting in shape has also reduced my use of ibuprofen, which I used to take like candy. I've been on a strong prescription medication to manage it for 6 years. In the 6 months, I have reduced it from daily to once a week and supplement with Zantac as needed. Just an FYI, sometimes it isn't just diet and weight. I have a hiatal hernia, which prevents your stomach from sealing off prope…

I won't argue that it works for some, but I think it is blown out of proportion. My scenario is 3 kids (middle school and high school). With activities almost every night, it is not uncommon for us to be eating dinner at 8:00 (or later) and there are times I'm not even home for the day until after 9:00 pm. Once homework is done and everyone is in bed, it is easily after 10:00. I've tried going to bed right after they do, but never sleep well. I need some time to reset my brain and let everything…

I'll have to disagree with you there. Is it really a financial "sacrifice" if it is what she wants? My wife wanted to stay home with the kids. I was fine either way, but we were fortunate enough that we could afford for her to do that. But at the end of the day, it was her decision. Now fast forward to kids are all older, but still at home. So she volunteers with multiple organizations. Probably 40 hrs per week if not more. Now if SHE decides I don't "do it" for her anymore and decides to divorc…

Right. I'm saying what if she does that and then after the kids are grown, she decides she's bored and want to leave the marriage against the wishes of her husband?

Do you think she is entitled to alimony if she initiates a no fault divorce?

I love my kids with all my heart, but if the court thinks they need to maintain the lifestyle they had before the divorce, award custody to the parent that can provide that (me). Obviously if there are extenuating circumstances, like the father doesn't want them or is unfit, that would be a different story.

I think you exhibit a common problem that most guys your age have. You want these girls' attention so bad, you're willing to do cartwheels to keep them happy. Your friend wants you around as a male friend. Having a gf takes your time and attention away and she was obviously willing to sabotage that to get what she wants. You need to man up and tell her that is not okay. You want a gf and if your friend doesn't want that job, that's fine, but she can't interfere with your romantic life and still …

Someone has to pay for the baby and guess who isn't going to do it? The State. I agree this practice is totally unfair, but it is not done out of any moral justification. It is 100% financially motivated because the state wants someone to pay for the baby and it isn't going to be them.

You need to work on your reading comprehension. His first sentence neither says nor implies anything of the sort.

The success of movies like Magic Mike (and the sequel) as well as the cover of virtually any romance novel would disagree with you. Hint: If a girl you're hooking up with has small breasts and asks you if you like big breasts, you don't say yes.

Death is the only absolute truth. There is a reason for the word that starts with a "T" after RP.

Women already have theirs. There are entire porn channels dedicated to "fucking machines". These things are serious hardware that can drill her with interchangeable size attachments for hours on end.

I'll concede I might have read it the first time with a little slant due to my situation. I guess I read "do the dishes" and know how most on here view that as the woman's role. Upon reading it again (objectively), I can agree that it sounds like he is off base with his theory.

My point was he specifically spoke against doing chores for sex in his post.

Shouldnt a woman work harder for the mature man? Absolutely. But you are assuming that dishes and sex are the only two things those high value married men care about. I'm just speaking from experience (20 years married with 3 kids) and have a very happy marriage and active sex life. I will tell you from experience that the amount of shit on her plate is enormous. Last night would be a great example. We cracked a bottle of wine and cooked dinner together (we both work). While she got the kids rea…

If I'm being consistent with my stance on "drunk rape" as I apply it to women, being drunk does not absolve you of the consequences of your decisions. You sound like you consented (you said you put the condom on), so you have to deal with it. I will say that I get whisky dick well before being blacked out drunk, so not sure your story is going to fly. I would go paternity test if she forces the issue, but if it is yours, it's yours.

If I had as strong a suspicion as you did, I would have simply told her I would go get the drink for my son. Then I would have made sure she saw me talking to the guy as we both came out of the room together.

For those arguing that the guy was stupid for trying to represent himself, I agree. But..... it would be different if she was claiming he was the father and he was trying to prove he wasn't. In this case, she has admitted she knows who the real father is. And that is what I have serious issue with.

So many problems with this article... Sexual assault includes unwanted fondling. So not only must a guy ask if she wants sex, he would also have to ask if he can put his hand on her breast, her butt, etc. If he doesn't ask before each step, then she hasn't given explicit consent and he is sexually assaulting her (according to the current feminist movement). I think a key part of the article is when she mentions that he was bragging about it and apparently it was common knowledge they hooked up. …

As a father, I can somewhat understand (I think) where he is coming from. Nobody can know how they would react in this situation unless they have been there, but if it happened to me, I would have probably been beating myself up for those 10 years wondering how I could have failed my daughter so tragically that she would be prompted to do something like that.

Not true. You can decline a sobriety test. You will lose your driving privileges, but it's better than a DUI.

It is outdated, but if being drunk means you can't consent, does that mean a drunk driver can't consent to a field sobriety test? Or a search of their vehicle?

Not sure of the laws in Canada, but in the US, I believe you must have the consent of both parents to get a passport for a minor. If that is true in Canada and she lied as the article states to get the baby a passport, she did break the law.

The other aspect I did not see mentioned is the difference between number of reported cases and the number of suspects. Based on the news from Detroit who is apparently just now getting around to some huge number of rape kits, they found 100 serial rapists in the first 1000 rape kits. By definition, a serial rapist is someone who rapes 3 or more women. So those 100 men were responsible for at least 300 rapes. While I would bet most falsely accused and inconclusive cases involve one suspect per c…

The quote was taken out of context to provide a sense of how he was wronged when really, he supported her, she appreciated it, she gave him the kids and paid child support, and that there isn't this ill will over it. No ill will? Only enough to get divorced over. She was cheating on him. And I noticed you left out the parts of the original story where he also got a court order preventing her from using alcohol within 24 hours of the girls staying with her. And it prohibited her from having her b…

I would expect a child to be afraid of all dogs if they had been attacked. And I would expect a child to be afraid of men if they were abused. But I would expect a strong independent woman to be more rational with her fears. She compares the fears of women to the fears of a child twice! So which is it? Should we coddle you and treat you like irrational children?
