I think we all know that brutally honest is one-directional. She will bitterly resent any honesty sent in her own direction.

But patriarchy! Patriarchy is the reason why weak women need to die because... men... prefer... weak women? *hamster explodes*

She says she wants her man to be "proud" of her, but what she doesn't realize is that for a man to be proud of you, you gotta be someone he would be proud ABOUT. It's not like there is some magical "good man" who will be proud of you no matter who you are or what you do. Men are gonna be proud of their girl if she earns it, by being classy and treating them well. You gotta earn that, it's not free. Why is that man gonna smile about you? Are you giving him something to smile about?

I think this is just a result of women going to online self-help forums. If you go to a forum where the subject is how to get a relationship, all of the people talking to you are going to be other people with the same problem as you, because as soon as someone gets into a solid relationship they will have almost no reason at all to stay in that forum. The sad thing is that while her paragraph started off so well (I am terrible at picking men), it ended so poorly. " I don’t understand why this keeps happening unless all guys just suck. " It's so hard to admit agency and responsibility for what you do that it's easier to just say all men suck and leave it at that.

he would have been happy like most men with just sex Where are all the good 300 year old pirate ghosts? Honestly I feel like at this age of my life, all of the good 300 year old pirate ghosts have already married other mediums and spiritualists.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
