Just to follow up, I posted a variation of what you said. "It is misogynistic to claim that women aren't responsible for their own behavior and are controlled by men. Everyone needs to take responsibility for their own actions, men and women alike." The only response was she that she, "liked" my comment. Neither she nor any of her friends that liked it commented back, which I am thankful for actually. Anyway, thanks for the thoughtful and insightful retort.

Regarding the wear your ring part; are they actually suggesting getting a cheap wedding band if you are single? I was already aware of the fact that the ring makes them more attracted to you, I guess my question would be then how do you transition from being married-->single without looking like an asshole or lying? Tell them I wear this to pick up chicks?

He didn't threaten him, which seems to be a common accusation within this topic. Wow let's not split hairs here. How does saying, "You know what happens to little boys like you...your ass will be hurting for a month." and "You WILL get violated." How is that not threatening him??? Sure the officer wasn't saying, "I will rape you." He was saying, "Bubba your cell mate WILL rape you." I disagree with that part of your post sir.

You don't think that was appropriate? Consenting to give her a ride home with the presence of "chaperones." The father should have shook his hand and said, "thank you for helping my daughter get home safely from a place where she was not safe." I mean I guess he could have gotten her dad's number from her and called him first... You're mad at the good samaritan not your daughter for running away??? First off, she asked HIM for a ride home. Second, there were other people in the car.
