I think you're overthinking this. Treat it the same way you'd make plans with anyone else in that situation. If she's interested, she'll meet up with you. If she's not, she won't.

One thing to keep in mind in this situation: when you get rejected like that, it's not really about you. I can't possibly be, because she doesn't know you! The only thing that she's rejecting is your approach, not who you are as a person.

I agree. I'm sure girls would line up to sleep with Eminem because of his fame. But I wouldn't be surprised if he actually does scare away quite a few of them because of his personality.

No hard evidence, just a feeling. I could be wrong. Didn't he ask out both Britney Spears and Christina Aquilera and get rejected by both? I know he dissed them both in his songs. Seems like that guy in the club who tries to hit on girls and then calls them a bitch when they're not super into him right away. I've never thought of him as a good role model for pickup.

Actually I get the feeling Eminem is not really that good with women

Darn. Maybe one day I will find the interview again, and when I do I will post the name of the book here!

Maybe I'll check it out anyway, it's probably worth a read! My memory says it was by another author, but I can't confirm since I can't find the David D interview either.

I've found this as well. I think if you set a date a week ahead and don't talk to her at all until then, she's much more likely to flake.

How's it going? But honestly the words don't matter much. It's more body language, eye contact, voice tone. General demeanor.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
