Yea looking for parental traits in partners doesn’t mean you want to have sex with your parents, but biological we prefer people with parental traits because they’re most likely the best when it comes to raising children.

Ok yea thats why we weren’t on the same page lol. I agree that would not be idea in any relationship, and would indicate that the man isn’t independent. (which is a turn off for most women) I cant even see what kind of guy would want a girl like that though? Most guys, myself included, hate clinginess eventually. (it can be nice at first but gets annoying really fast) But anyway yea I agree we just weren’t on the same page of what defined “motherly”

It’s not the same, a nurturing woman doesn’t mean she has to be attracted to neoteny, things like words of confirmation, playing in hair, cuddling, cooking, showing affection are all things that I would consider to be “motherly” yet nothing about any of these suggests neoteny.
