1	Introvert vs. Extrovert It needs to be made clear that extroversion/introversion does not equate to being outgoing/shy. It's generally defined that introversion is when a person exerts energy during social situations while extroversion is when a person takes in energy from social situations. Probably a large amount artists and entertainers would identify themselves as introverted.
