The effort doesn’t matter in the slightest. Promiscuity for both sexes is deplorable. I simply cannot tolerate degenerate men thinking they have a pass. I highly doubt he’s “grovelling like a dog” anyway. That’s not the case for all men.

I have problem with his reference to “respectable behaviour”. That is criticism, so maybe you should work on your reading comprehension. It’s laughable that he has these grand principles for women when quite frankly he’s a licentious philanderer. Also, welcome to the internet, opinions are shared. I’m assuming his comment was meant to be reacted to otherwise it wouldn’t have been written.

Not the best equivalency… hypocrisy “is the practice of engaging in the same behavior or activity for which one criticizes another or the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform”. So yes, if you condemn promiscuity in someone yet behave promiscuously I would consider it hypocritical. Obviously no policing is being done and his partner is consenting, I just personally find it vile.

Most people don’t like hypocrites

Poor woman, your past certainly is not respectable. I hope she wakes up

That’s vile, definitely not husband material

Based on absolutely nothing, as you’ve already mentioned. Ok. Suggesting that virgin women with principles want virgin men with principles is not the same leap.

I’ve no idea what you’re attempting to argue. Yes, some men prefer virgins because it can correlate with a virtuous nature and therefore high value attributes. Some prefer virgins because they enjoy the naivety and believe sex makes women dirty. Regardless they prefer the same thing. All I’m suggesting is that adult virgin women prefer adult virgin men for the same reason. The types of virgin women that you believe exist is irrelevant.

Men are adamant about stating that virgin women have value and that they prefer them. I don’t believe that most of those women couldn’t get laid if they wanted to. What they’re interested in is important to the original comment considering he believed otherwise.

What’s your point

I’m referring to adult virgins. Not adolescents or children. These women are typically not interested in promiscuous or dissolute habits

Virgin women do. They don’t want sexually successful men. If you bothered to read the post you’d understand that

Are you a woman? We value looks and fertility too. Balding, sagging, erectile dysfunction/reproductive issues, as well as typical promiscuous attitudes are not appealing. Women no longer need male resources, we are more likely to be degree holders, do better in college, have not been barred from the workplace. Celebrity males are completely different, I can guarantee you’re no Leonardo DiCaprio. And for the record - all men think with their penises.

There is nothing to determine whether a woman is a virgin or not. That’s like making up a scenario where people with blue eyes are virgins and claiming it’s better than nothing. It’s completely unfounded and ridiculous

But it’s clearly not, as explained above

Dating and marriage are just terms, nothing changes relationship-wise between a committed adult couple who are dating and who are married.

Romantic relationships include love, intimacy, partnership, etc and may or may not include sex. Your idea of a heterosexual romantic relationship is not the precedent. Also, must you end each comment with a personal insinuation?

Not sure why you’re so angry. Since when did I say that I “only care about money because I want my man to have a stable job”? Also a romantic relationship does not necessarily have to include sexual intercourse. Irregardless, the original post is discussing the decline in sex, not necessarily the absence of it.

I thought it was obvious that we were conversing hypothetically… I’m not even in a relationship. No need to get personal just because you only value sex in a relationship

False equivalency, sex is not a requirement to live. And typically partners enjoy the other’s company enough for sex to not be a requirement in the relationship.

Hardly. It’s just a change of priorities.

Probably because they’re incredibly exhausted at the end of the day and no longer feel like spending more time awake participating in mediocre sex
