I have a lot of respect with you for doing this. Cheers to guys who aren't handed everything and aren't afraid! You have great self esteem.

You don't seem clear on why you're a feminist, or how to define a feminist. I think you're giving yourself this label for the "wow!" factor to get more upvotes. 'If SHE supports MensRights, than they must do nothing wrong!!!'

.....I consider myself a feminist, which I define as a person who promotes and believes in the equality of the sexes. The sexes are not equal because women don't have as many opportunities as men. Ergo "feminism." Why would there be an organization with an elitist stance towards women and an agenda to "compete" against men?

Then why is he suggesting that the guy catch it? ::sigh::

Are you saying she shouldn't have even tried to catch the ball? Can I ask why?

As a feminist, I have never seen or understood this vicious hate you're implying. The feminism that I believe in and see every day is about raising up people who are misrepresented and mistreated so that everyone can enjoy an equal standard with all the same opportunities. To be honest, I have no idea how someone could spin a movement about true equality to be something so ugly, that simply targets those with the most opportunity. All this attitude does is harm, which is f*&%ing stupid. Pointles…

I would interpret this ad as sexist in the opposite direction, but I guess also for the reason you have identified. My first impression of it to be honest, is "oh great another housewife sitting on her ass with her perfect make up and children and lemme guess, the father's out in the real world...because dammit, women stay home and men bring back the bacon." Either way it sets society back 50 years.

Oh come on, men don't put women through hell? My last boyfriend is now dating this girl who always fawned over us at parties saying what a great looking couple we were, and he cheated on me with her the whole time. And I've met the worst cases of set-in-their-ways and looking-for-a caretaker and wont touch you unless you've had a full body wax assholes. You give the men's rights subreddit a bad name. We also have to admit to ourselves that dismissing people as "crazy" is pidgeon holing, just as …

How in hell would my job cause harm to others?? And if it did, why would I be online commenting? You can't possibly be offended by me joking about how silly it would be to easily kill someone while at work. I develop clothing; I guess I could request that something be less flame- retardant. And big sleeves.

This is such a heavy handed thing to choose to represent yourself on your dating profile. Do you really want the first thing people learn about you is " Chivalry is Dead" ?

She's just threatening to use her husband because she doesn't want to get punished for not sticking to this ingenius "plan." I doubt she considers herself "entitled" to be a mother, she IS a mother just as carchamp1 is a father. Who cares if she wants to stay home and raise a child for awhile? Shouldn't someone be doing that anyway? Ofcourse a father is as important as a mother, I'm not doubting that, if carchamp1 suddenly got an epiphany and realized he wanted to spend more time with his kid, w…

Sorry about all the casual swearing, that's a bad habit. Didn't mean it to come off so mad. Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is although it's a bad move on her part to threaten to take the kid away from you, she might be afraid and unsure and maybe she's realizing how important it is when your child is very young to really build that relationship with them! It's common sense that the parent spending more time with the kids gets a stronger relationship with them. Good for you to sticking to y…

You insist your wife should continue working a full time job because you PAID for one of her degrees? Are you fucking kidding me guy? No one knows what their needs will be 2 years from now, give your wife a fucking break for realizing she wanted to spend more time with her child than she has anticipated. How the hell is she supposed to be 100% sure she'll want to work 24/7 once she has children? No one can predict that kind of thing, let her be. Ever heard of changing career paths? Think of your…

You should never expect the worst from your SO. Healthy relationships consistently see both spouses expecting the best of eachother. If you expect to date someone self centered, what does that show?

And this article perpetuates that combatant way of thinking by using ridiculous "put her in her place" language.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
