This is very motivating. And good on you for sitting through the boring stuff until he was ready to come to bed. Where did you get the fishnet outfit?!!

Yes, definitely keep your boyfriend in the know. Good luck to you!

I actually just went through something similar regarding a toxic ex reaching out to me while I’m happily in a relationship. For me personally, I responded to him and told him to leave me alone. I also made my boyfriend aware of it and he was supportive of me telling him off since he knows how poorly he treated me when we were together. My ex ended up taking the hint, apologized to me, and told me he would never contact me again. I suggest you do the same because he’s just going to try to contact…

I buy secondhand VS lingerie on Poshmark and Ebay. I love American Eagle for comfy yet sexy panties and bras and Amazon for some other lingerie pieces like stockings, garter belts, etc.

I usually just make my boyfriend double what I eat. He’s around same height and build as your boyfriend, and he can easily eat a pound of meat in one meal. So for example, if I’m making chicken thighs with roasted potatoes. I give him four and two for me. And I’ll pair that with some sort of vegetable, rice, salad, etc. You’re better off assuming he’ll eat more than underfeeding him. I recommend looking into Nourishing Traditions/Weston A. Price for nourishing meals 🙂

Thank you! This makes me feel much more comfortable about saying it!! And I totally agree that marriage proposals or any major steps in commitment should be done by the man.

I second this! I met my bf on Hinge. You can weed out a lot of people and be up front about what you’re looking for.

I’m not in your area but I wish there was a way for more of us ladies to connect in person.

That would be very helpful. I have no idea how to set that sort of thing up. Any volunteers?!

I definitely feel luckier :) We met on a dating app. He messaged me, flew me out to meet him a few weeks later, and it has been amazing ever since.

They’re usually quite old. I’m in the Northeast where church is not the norm for people in their 20s and 30s.

I don’t think I’ve ever been to a church where I’ve met anyone around my age. They’re usually 40+ but predominantly senior citizens. But I may look into other churches that have a younger scene :) thank you!

I did choose to be celibate for 8 years after going wild my freshman year of college that I flunked out at 18. Initially, I was celibate because I was sick of giving my body away to men who didn’t want to date me and have a serious relationship with me. Then I became Christian and continued to remain celibate for religious reasons or until I met someone I could see myself spending the rest of my life with. I met that person so I’m no longer celibate. Even though we’re not married yet, I’m so hap…

I’ve never felt the need to be polite to those who are aggressive in pursuing me. I think that man was completely inappropriate to grab your wrist. Men like that need to be told bluntly that you’re not interested. Mature men know how to read cues. You not texting was a major cue you weren’t into him so he should’ve approached you politely or moved on. In normal situations where the men politely ask for your number, just tell them thanks but you’re not interested. If you’re worried they will get …

Only on special occasions, I wear magnetic lashes. I got mine at CVS. They’re so much easier than handling glue.

Do what makes you comfortable! The upkeep of waxing and shaving is the worst imo. I opted for an at home IPL hair removal system recently (Braun to be specific), and I still get pubic hair it’s just softer, sparse, and much more manageable to shave without getting razor burn or ingrown hairs. And my skin stays soft 24/7! If I’m not mistaken, laser doesn’t get rid of pubic hair permanently due to hormones but I believe electrolysis does. I say go for the laser at the very least for bikini area—yo…

I’m in a LDR also! We’re still in the early stages, but right now I try to be there for him when he has a rough day at work whether that’s letting him vent his frustrations to me or making sure to be as easy going as possible. You can also mail him a care package with some of his favorite things (snacks, grooming stuff, etc.) and a sweet handwritten letter. It doesn’t have to be expensive at all but just some things for him to know you care about him.

Stell Bell? She left Youtube due to harassment by creepy men who were stalking and doxxing her. There was a lot of drama involving her, and it was probably the best decision for her to leave social media behind until she matures and figures things out.

It’s all about confidence and being secure about where you stand with your boyfriend! I had a similar feeling of jealousy with my boyfriend the other night at a bar due to our friendly waitress. I started overthinking about her being more attractive than me and wondering if he thought she was better looking than me and more desirable. But I talked myself out of it. You know whose hand he was caressing? Mine. You know whose eyes he couldn’t stop looking deeply into? Mine. You know who he had sex …

First off, stop being so hard on yourself. I’d work on your insecurities first and foremost. Confidence exudes itself from within. I was an ugly duckling in high school that no one noticed or wanted to date. I managed to boost my confidence and change up the way I looked over the years. I don’t look that different from high school compared to now as a 26 year old, but the way I carry myself and the little improvements in my appearance made a huge difference to boost my attractiveness. There’s so…

I think it’s helpful to become more charming and improve your personality but don’t be something you’re not. The right man will accept your serious, introverted side but will also bring out your lighthearted, cheerful side. My boyfriend was intrigued to the darker, quieter side of my personality because he related to that as well, but he also makes me giggle like a giddy schoolgirl around him. So in short, don’t act in a way that’s completely unnatural to you. It’s perfectly fine to loosen up a …

I can totally relate to what you’re looking for. I did this last year to find more traditional minded Christian men, live more simply, and for a variety of other reasons. I ended up finding no one near me, and all of my relationships since moving here have been long distance. To be quite honest, I romanticized living in a conservative area too much and was not happy with the quality of men around me so I had to branch out to find what I was looking for. I think you’re going to find likeminded me…

I think you still need to work on your insecurities that’s why you’re very uncomfortable around men you feel very deeply about. Men don’t mind shyness and some find it very charming but not being confident and very awkward and withdrawn is definitely a turn off. I would suggest doing some affirmations to remind yourself of your femininity, confidence, and attractiveness. But you can also make it clear when the time is right that you’re shyness is due to you liking him. Play it cool and take thin…

Pheromones are a wonderful thing! There’s so much more to attraction than looks, intelligence, connection, etc. It was his smell and then after that I realized he just seemed grimy, was very immature, and had zero career motivation. He just seemed way too content being poor and drinking beer and smoking cigarettes excessively. (He brought crappy beer and musty sandwiches on our morning hike lol). I think you can make it work if you don’t like their smell and you like them a lot, but I’d just be …

Nope, not a weirdo at all! I can’t get enough of my boyfriend’s smell. It’s intoxicating! I heard it means you’re a good biological match if you like each other’s scent. I went on a date with a guy last year who smelled so bad when we hugged upon meeting. I was so disgusted by him the entire date and was physically repulsed when he held my hand. Needless to say, we didn’t last very long.

I completely agree. Prior to discovering this community, I was feminine despite being a feminist back then. When I talk to friends about my past beliefs, I always tell them how much more comfortable I am in my skin now then when I was a raging feminist. As a feminist, I looked feminine (long hair, pretty dresses, painted nails, spoke softly, etc.), but I forced myself to act masculine in certain situations because that’s what I thought I was supposed to do. Being nurturing, sensitive, emotional,…

Eat healthy, workout, and learn to embrace your current shape that is still very much desirable. Don’t get caught up on trendy body shapes. I’m thicker now than I used to be, but I’m actively losing weight and I enjoy being slimmer so much more. I have more energy, better range of movement, no more bloating, more self control, and less cellulite. As for bigger breasts, chest workouts are very helpful in giving you a more lifted, fuller look, but they’re mostly fatty tissue so there’s only so muc…
