People are more complex than one or two mistakes. When someone has a years long track record of selfish and/or thoughtless decisions that negatively affect the livelihood of thousands of people, voluntarily associates with people who have rejected science based evidence and uses his platform to spread bigotry and conspiracy theories, maybe they are, in fact, not more complex than that. The way I understand the way it SHOULD work is: MRAs handle men's issues, feminism handles women's issues. I'm pretty sure MRAs wouldn't have a problem with this situation as long as no one claimed they were working on the other's issues while actually blocking any movement on these issues, which is what is happening.
