2/3 of college debt is from gender who makes up 2/3 of college? Math checks out.

Close, but there’s still exponential fuel consumption per weight of flight. Sailboat is a little different story. I see you’re set on making some sort of point, so I’ll concede she perhaps ate more food on a week’s sail vs half day of flight travel.

How about this; let’s settle this debate for you. Tell us the majors or degrees that have been compared. Don’t tell us which one is yours. We’ll give honest answers for what ones are hard and if they’re fluff or easy. This way there’s no gender bias.
/r/MensRights11/10/19 07:20 PM

Perhaps they were being logical, not competitive or purposefully denigrating. Some degrees are really freaking hard compared to others. Say, compare nursing to graphic design. One is way harder, but the graphic designer might be butt hurt if anyone said it. While they might have the same title at the end of their educational career, some degrees also make less. So if you have a “pointless” specific social science and can’t get a job, and worked relatively less to get that degree... yeah. Some de…

Exactly, people here are claiming perjury because a couple minor details aren't continually 100% the same. I'm saying that's how our memories work, it's consistent with recalling an old memory.
/r/MensRights08/11/18 03:33 AM
9

That’s a thing a well trained prosecutor would use to try and convince a jury a witness is lying, irrelevant of the truth. Memories are faulty all the time, and we continually slightly change them. Traumatic memories generally retain their core actions, but minute ‘hazy’ details are somewhat fluid. Sadly, the behavior of our own memory is rarely or if ever considered during trials, and the minute errors are used as false ‘proof’ those recounting events are lying.

His good friend Judge wrote a book called “Wasted” and all about their times in high school. Even though he renamed the characters, the oddly familiar O’Kavenaugh is a heavy drinking cohort.

My comment was more geared toward those who're using it as some sort of celebratory motto or pushing it onto others regarding relationships. Obviously your situation didn't apply, but making it into a prideful statement disregarding situational differences is concerning as the other commenter had done.
/r/seduction30/05/17 05:25 AM

I didn't change anything about myself for [my S.O.], I did it for myself. I've been quite irritated at this comment from those who push it without caveat. It makes for a very selfish base of actions. To disregard your partner in all aspects of your own being makes for bad partnership. I understand the sentiment, but the manner in which generally presented is not wholesome advice. If taken literally and wholly, it's quite bad advise.

Except here we have 120 peaches and 80 eggplants to start with, the whole point being we're not starting equal. Women make up the majority of higher education. The original post is saying that 7.9% of women are in higher education STEM, but did NOT mention that there's way more women in higher education. So, we have a situation that's not quite as dire as it seems and likely stated in that manner to be misleading.
/r/MensRights15/02/17 06:28 PM
6

You forget there's a roughly 60/40 split of women/men in higher education. That'll nudge the absolute values in each field. So, 10.8% of higher edu is men in STEM and 6.3% is women. Not quite the stark contrast, but still little over half as many women at a roughly 38% total.

There seems to be some coordinated attacks on Musk lately. He's got some sort of target on him now. Not surprising this is from Vice, a publication that's been recently twisted into some subtlety neoconservative backing rag after they've long earned the trust the counter-culture. Interesting choice of attack indeed, rather telling of what they've become.

No. That's not at all the case. There's 30 years of accusations. Not just people talking about 30 years ago. Janice Dickinson did an interview on Howard stern something like 6 years ago and couldn't comment to the specifics of why he was so creepy because her lawyer told her not to say anything. This was way before it came out. Even Richard prior did a skit on how rape-y he was in the 70s. Hell. Even Cosby himself did a skit on drugging and raping women when he was starting as a stand up actor. …

The boy was invited into the domicile by the daughter, subsequently the father killed the boy. That's already enough to convict the father on. He's already guilty of murder or homicide if this is true. The only question here is whether the father's supposed ignorance of this circumstance enough to redeem his guilt by a jury. But, per the law he would be 'guilty' and can't claim the boy was an intruder due to his daughter's actions.

I really think the case is that: Dad killed the kid after becoming enraged. Dad knows laws, knows he just killed some fucking kid who was invited in their house. Dad told daughter to lie so he doesn't go to jail for killing the kid. Daughter is told to say she didn't know him. Dad now has chance at not being charged with manslaughter or murder.

Support is based on theoretical days with the kid as written in a plan. Shared means he has some days, threshold variable in some states, with the kid. He could have 50 days in the plan, be given total of 350 by the mother, be paying 100% of child support because he doesn't meet the minimum in the support calculation and pay for all child care, education and medical care as ordered by the judge. It all sounds pretty reasonable and similar to what I had, but I had 2x that.

Also, even if women do better than men at school now, it is because schools are more accommodating to methods that favor female learning abilities. The "inherent nature of a relationship" is the whole point of my posting, something that an age can't quantify. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. DOCUMENT DOCUMENT DOCUMENT!!! Get video, audio. Writing. Find out explicitly what the law allows you to do in your area to gather any evidence on her. Have him keep an explicit journal. DO ALL OF THIS. It will be EXTREMELY useful in court. (where it is undoubtedly heading) I went through damn near this exact senario. I didn't document enough, and the judge felt that the mother deserved a second chance. And once the primary parent was set, the court is extremely difficult to …

Man, I'm only 28 and going through almost all this in Colorado. Luckily I realized what she was like and didn't end up marring her after we had twins by accident. No alimony here, just everything beyond rent and food goes to support. I've been fighting tooth and nail, all my money I had ever saved gone fighting for my kids. Even though the court ordered family investigator found me to be the most stable parent (by far), they gave her the kids and let her move to Oregon with a per-diem job which …

Sad that she doesn't know the statistics of pornography usage resulting in sexual offenders is quite contrary to her beliefs.

"If you don't want to risk having a child, don't have sex." That is an overly simplistic view on a complex issue. You're (theHM) completely ignoring the existence and need of desire in relationships and the variations on self control. We all know how well abstinence education works.

Leaving him $58/week to live on is still crazy. Although I guess it's not much different than my situation leaving $87/week after living expenses (rent and util) and a $900 CS payment. To top it off I've been fighting to just see my kids from the beginning. That's not including how I'm supposed to maintain a fully stocked home for them when they come.
