1	Last time I checked, this expression is used to explain that boys often scrap and fight with each other as kids do, not to suggest that people would even try to use this 'argument' to rationalize rape. Well idk, not a usual here. But if you think that argument is true then punishing only 1 rapist/victim is unfair and unjust. While punishing both is unviable and just hurts our victims/rapists more for no good reason (their "victim" probably wouldn't even want them punished). Ok, its either messy or a gross miscarriage of justice (at least in my moral judgement). If the point is that children can't make these decisions for themselves therefore having sex with them is rape, then naturally the girl would be raping as well right? Punishing a child that is a victim themselves in the incident without punishing the other isn't fair in the slightest. Wouldn't it just be a bit of a mess? It would definitely be one of those laws that are difficult to apply like porn and pirating. Given that both parties are victims and rapists there will be issues there too. The victims would be the opposite of cooperative as they would testify in defence of their rapist (lover) and themselves. It would be a case where no one wins even if it does go through. You mean regular rape? Can't really charge a minor with statutory rape. But the idea that teenage boys that rape people haven't done something wrong is hardly the genral opinion. God knows how many (seemingly rightful) angry facebook posts I had to scroll through after the Brock Turner thing. –	The Guardian: Infant male circumcision is genital mutilation. My experience as a Canadian in Atlantic Canada is the reverse. Circumsicion is rare here and none of my good friends are circumcised. I wouldnt say Canada as a country advocates circumsicion, in 2013 the rates were 32 percent and thats going down. But you're argument doesn't really prove that women aren't oppressed, it just shows that men are oppressed more.
