I don't understand this. Is it really 'giving in' or 'begging' to say please when making a request like that? Is it really a failure if you say it?

I would argue that videogames are not entirely useless. Some are, and the way a lot of people play them they are, but they can also be powerful mediums for stories. They can teach strategy and planning methods, (civilization games) organization, ( RTS or MMOs) time management, resource management, observation skills, reflexes, spacial thinking (tetris), etc. Many games have several of these elements. You can even learn from games - I had no idea what fletching was until Runescape. They can be a …

I'm pretty liberal, and I don't think that everyone can ever be the same, nor will everyone have the same wealth. It just doesn't work that way. Men aren't the same as women for example. Everyone should be equal under the eyes of the law, as in nobody gets special privileges as women do in divorce cases. And what does that even mean, not concerned about contributing equally to society?

Saying that liberals/leftists are mentally ill is a pretty shitty one backed up by nothing whatsoever.

Really? Anyone who leans left is mentally ill? Are all black people thieves and criminals too?

So go to a college you can afford. That's the number one priority when searching for colleges.

I can say from experience that a decent or better teacher can help you immensely. They may have years of experience in the field, they may present the material in a particularly effective way, they may be just the right personality for the class which makes learning a true joy potentially. They can help easily clarify questions and projects can be great learning tools. And if you go in state, you shouldn't be paying more than 100k overall, or even if you shop around and maybe get residency in an…

No value in the education? There's nothing to gain from learning and reading and expanding your knowledge?
/r/TheRedPill08/01/15 06:13 AM
2

I disagree, because I actually think that learning at a college level is inherently valuable to become an informed and well-read person. Is there really no value in just learning things?
/r/TheRedPill08/01/15 06:11 AM

Are you seriously suggesting that there's no value to a college education?

I lived in MA for 17 years. I have a few friends at UMass Amherst. Amherst is only about the colleges. There's nothing else there. You seem to be set on MA specifically. I would only ever live in one of the suburbs of Boston or else in Boston proper. Some things to keep in mind are that the weather blows and the people are very blunt and confrontational. It's a very different atmosphere than Texas or California, for example. Edit: If you want small town with lots of college kids and high quality…

Then you would slay with or without NLP. I can link you to the scientific reviews that show numerous factual errors and a lack of results if you like.

I studied NLP for quite a while and tried many times to put it into practice before coming to the conclusion that it is a fucking bullshit pseudoscience, which is the consensus in the scientific community.

I'd be down to bang but she's not so attractive that I'd care to put in a lot of effort. There is another odd angle to this however. Her living situation isn't very stable since she moved out of her parents house, and my dad offered to let her stay at our house in California (we also kept our house in my hometown in Massachusetts) with no rent, just paying the internet bill. If this happened (she hasn't answered definitively yet) I would likely tell her on top of the internet bill, rent is payab…

While I generally agree with you, there are people who think rape is deserved sometimes. Just because we associate with normal, decent people doesn't mean everyone is. Although I still don't think we have a rape culture at all, the opposite if anything.

Because if you're in an exclusive relationship, you agreed to be in an exclusive relationship, and not adhering to that is a breach of trust. Would you tell your woman to cheat if she knew she wouldn't get caught?

I can answer the second question. TRP does teach you how to build real confidence. TRP is primarily about recognizing reality and adapting yourself to do well in it - lift weights, eat well, care for yourself, etc. TRP is about making your life as rich and interesting and positive as possible, and that tends to attract women.

When you did DMT and were in another world, did you even consider that you were a 'human' in a 'room' on 'earth'? No? Ego death. I think DMT is best for ego death due to its intensity. If you break through, your ego will die, 100%.

DMT (also ayahuasca), psilocybin containing mushrooms, LSD are the classical psychedelics, maybe mescaline too. I think DMT is the best for ego death, as long as you smoke enough you will experience ego death. Ego death does not mean a sudden epiphany about the reality of life necessarily, just that you basically don't even consider the fact that you are separate from everything else - usually you are too far gone in the trip to even remember you are a human being in a room somewhere on planet e…

Usually try to keep to girls that are about as tall or shorter which isn't too hard (5'7") otherwise agree/amplify if it ever comes up in conversation - yeah legally i'm a dwarf, i pay kids prices at amusement parks, etc. It does suck. It's an ever present power differential with tall girls. If you're solid enough though it hardly matters. Plus it's easier to get ripped if you're short.

Visualize catastrophe. The girl starts laughing at you and every single person in the room starts snickering and posting about you on twitter. You piss yourself on camera etc etc etc. Keep visualizing until you can't help but laugh, and usually that does the trick for me.

Fuck, just typed out a couple paragraphs response on my phone and it got deleted somehow. Oh well, I'll cut it down a little. Situation: Senior year HS. Small town in MA but very rich. Recovering from severe betaness and complete lack of social skills (couple years in to the real improvement). Already got a nice body. Fashion is pretty good and appropriate to said rich suburbia environment. Working on body language; relaxedness, taking up space, strong eye contact, slow movement etc. Going to co…

Don't approach it confrontationally. It's an opportunity to at least understand the opposing viewpoints. Regardless of how stupid you find them, you will arm yourself with knowledge of how to counter the arguments. Besides, it's good to open your mind to things you don't agree with anyway.

Assuming this is in the US. You should know by now that men making contact with strong women without express written permission is rape with intent to murder. Nah but seriously its just the bar state, guys are usually at least friendly while girls think they own the place. Esp in the US

So as I understand it, TRP is more about learning to be confident, picking up skills and interesting hobbies, making yourself interesting, where PUA is like mechanics/specifics of pickup?
