1	I'm new to college this week, any advice? I'm pretty shy. just walk up to her, and say "Hey, my name is -----. What's yours?" If they answer, ask them something about college or something. "What are you majoring in?" is great, because, since you're probably both in college, you know they have an answer, even if it's undecided. and go from there. but don't let the conversation stall. 2	I'm new to college this week, any advice? I'm pretty shy. Dude, this is from personal experience. I am also starting college in less than a week, and I already made new friends, and have a girlfriend whom I met at orientation. How? I forced myself to open up. I was terrified the entire time, but I stuck through, and got results. Don't be afraid to walk up to someone and start talking to them. Just introduce yourself, and see where it goes.
