| 8 | Lack of intimacy divorce? This is very familiar. Separate bedrooms nearly our entire 20 year marriage - snoring and a light sleeper. Sex drives never aligned, and intimacy stopped the past few years. I was not okay with that. She didn’t care, still thought she should get all of her needs met despite neglecting mine. She served me recently and that’s that. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/05/25 02:00 AM |
| 3 | I need a pick me up!That hit pretty close for me. Feel very abused for years. I couldn’t take it anymore. I finally started getting tired of it and fought back, a little too verbally aggressive. Fell apart emotionally and now I’m the villain. The horrible person. All the years of her poor treatment of me are apparently irrelevant. I’m sorry you’re facing this. It’s just awful. | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/04/25 04:34 AM |
| 7 | Did any of you find it impossible to ask her to do…anything? If I asked her to do something, like drive one of the kids or make diner, her response would be, “just so I’m clear. You want me to make dinner [or whatever small ask i had].” Felt very adversarial and trained me to stop asking for anything. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/04/25 07:23 PM |
