I didn't take the poll, but I'm fairly sure that there are more than 14 other forty year olds on here. Also, I'm Independent, pro-choice, I support everyone of the issues listed, etc. I don't think that I'm that far removed from my brothers on the sub. If I am, I'm honestly very happy that we all seem to get along so well.

I feel bad for her son. I can understand that she didn't understand the cultural institutionalized persecution of men until she'd personally experienced the repercussions. Hopefully, this life lesson will stick, and she will become the kind of vociferous activist for true equality as she was for Feminism. Because it would be basically covering the option that the man, in that situation, would want. Think of it as a processing fee for the paperwork required to remove his rights / responsibilities from the life of the child. He'll be basically aborting the child from his life, regardless of her choice. An abortion costs between $300 and $500.... oddly, the same price as it does to file for divorce.
