Do I think the the Tao Te Ching poems are useless aswell? Yes. Poetry not in it's original language looses the rythm that makes it poetry, and if the translated language is not an immediate family member, it looses meaning as well. And no, the poems are not originally in Mandarin.

Something people are missing when talking about this topic in general is: If the men don't get paid 300K, then they will go play for a European club that will pay that. The women cannot say the same thing. Its not so much about the revenue they make, as how much it costs to keep them on the US team so they don't go elsewhere. Some economy 101 that men and women alike seem to be misunderstanding.
