I applied for a management position and I got denied the ability to even interview. I knew I was qualified and contested it with my union backing me. The consent issue arises on the fact that a human body shouldn't be cosmetically altered for non-medical reasons until the person is of age that they can give consent. I'm not conveying that they 4 year old should have to decide. I believe the 4 year old should not be circumcised until he is old enough to decide to do it on his own (if he wishes).

I, personally, have no problem with religion. However, the fact that religion controls important parts of our life is what I have a problem with. I don't care if anyone in government is religious, but it's the second they use that religion to change the laws is where it goes too far. In the IVF contract, there is a destruction clause which states that if either party decides they do not wish to use the genetic material for procreation, they can ask for it to be destroyed. The court is throwing that clause out and forcing this man to have a kid he doesn't want. Also, financially, a kid is a kid. The mother can claim for child support or even the government can if she isn't making enough money.

My big issue with this is if there is a building on fire and an obese man in there. If they both had to pass the test with the same weight (The victim's weight), then they could both rescue him. However, the women's lifting test is less weight, so she may not be able to save that man and meet the actual qualifications to be a fire fighter.
