I used pink cherry! I don’t remember how I found the site to be honest I had a glass of wine or two. 😅 So vet it the way you would any other shop, so far I have no complaints!

Clicks predator is a term I would like to perpetuate. Very relevant, especially with the increasingly liberal description of an ‘influencer’. Thank you for explaining!!

Is clicks predator similar to thirst trapping? Sorry for my ignorance, I don’t recognize the term from the handbook or internet searches.

Exactly, I just kept thinking back to the QA sessions after seminars in my program, and how even when people were married to their views they wouldn’t disrespect the other person. The first time he did this I had a shock response, but that faded once I realized I had overestimated him.

This was so timely. It literally popped up just after I broke up with a LVM last night. The Universe, she is a beautiful thing. *chefs kiss

Absolutely, I’m also grateful we had different political beliefs. And I believe you’re right about the emotional manipulation, early on in the relationship, he definitely tried to indicate he would pull away/breakup with me if I couldn’t handle his inconsistent attention (looking back, all of our contact was entirely based on his availability). When I didn’t react desperately like “no no no I didn’t mean it, it’s fine” and actually said “ok then” he was silent. He would linger on the phone when …

Thank you. I’ve been actively trying to separate my emotions from my actions, be less reactive, and be more of an observer of my thoughts (I think I got the idea from meditation practice). That definitely helped me to recognize where each thought was coming from, and helped me assess how much value I wanted to place on that thought (kind of rambling here). The world already feels brighter, and it’s an overcast day!

Right? I called her right after the breakup and as we were talking it occurred to me. In that moment I seized my anger and did the block/delete. It still feels right after a night of rest, and I think that’s a good sign.

Thank you. I very much appreciate your kind words and support. This morning I woke up and it still feels right, and I think that’s a good sign!
