You want to make a point about how the sentence isn't justice that's fine, but dont lie about how she wasnt convicted or charged

A conviction is a conviction and a sentence is a sentence.

Or you could have read slightly past the first paragraph where it says she's plead guilty and is only waiting on sentencing

You do realize how many reported sexual assaults don't get anywhere near a court right? To expect every person to report it would not be an effective way of handling it. To go public at least gives you a chance that a police officer may take you seriously. here's a "fun" article about it.

For those with enough compassion it's not created any further distrust between men and women. For those that are worried about it creating distrust are quite likely IMO the people its aimed at. (Not intended as an insult but of the dissenters to the movement as divisive I've dealt with they rarely look at the positives of the me too movement such as, well if the accuser is true here then that's two state reps that were sexually assaulting people have been at least somewhat held accountable)

I mean, this isnt even that much of a setback for the movement. The movement, at its core, is about people showing solidarity with each other that sexual assault is pervasive and needs to be addressed at a societal level. In fact I'd suggest it shows it's so pervasive that even those that are victimized by it can still inflict it upon others. Being a victim of sexual abuse isnt mutually exclusive to someone capable of sexual assault.

Does a pussypass not need to be claimed anymore? This is just a circlejerk about some women getting arrested for drugs.

It's a very clear line really. Medical doctors are either able to keep the fetus alive outside of the mother or they can't. That's something that is appropriate to allow a medical professional to make that call on a case by case basis. Not something to be arbitrarily decided on by a timeline that will inevitably be used as a political tool. Incredible use of a strawman argument on bringing up slavery, I wish I were surprised at your use of it. And frankly, I don't think abortion is killing a chi…

Now we're talking about the issue. I'm comfortable up through the child being viable outside of the mother (which is prior to actual birth) Which is the current law AFAIK, so then the argument goes to access to those services and there is a clear and present danger in many communities of losing that access for no other reason than someone else doesn't like it.

No you're not. Being consistent would be talking about unborn children.

You're being pedantic and you know it.

Like it's close to being a valid point while missing the mark just enough that it's sort of pointless.

No one is for abortion, pro-choice is just to have the option because statistically having the option is better for society by reducing unwanted children.

I'm just confused by 'abortion' Seems a bit out of place.

Calling this an infographic is a bit of a stretch here. It doesn't have any stats or information at all.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
