That might make sense if I had any idea what you're talking about. How is it possible to have a mastery over being amused? Assuming that is a thing, it still doesn't play a role in any of this.

1) While yes, this is telling you to leave, the person you were addressing didn't say it 2) I can see how you could get that, but it's a stretch. The more immediate meaning would be he just doesn't want to talk to someone who wants to argue. Almost all arguments turn cyclical and have no end
