I will say at first NoFap helped me to get off my ass and make improvements with my life, like giving me the motivation to START hitting the gym/eating healthier and working on myself as a person mentally and socially. However, I can't say that NoFap alone made me go under some huge transformation. My point is, people there expect to change drastically from sitting around doing nothing but not masturbating, no action involved.

I've had "benefits" associated with long streaks of doing so, but now feel no different if I do fap. I understand these "benefits' come from within, and I feel empowered whether or not I fap. I think I've truly achieved the "reboot" status or whatever, and will be more than fine if I don't go back to mindlessly whacking it.

Nobody there understands the concept of moderation. I mean hell, it took me a while to have this type of epiphany, but like I said, I feel better than I ever did on a 90 day streak or any of that. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for someone trying to better themselves, and if they think abstaining from porn or masturbating will help, that's fine. But the people who go "omg I had to pee and touched my dick did I relapse??? will I lose my superpowers???" are absolutely fucking nuts.

As someone who has spent ~2 years on /r/NoFap, I can tell you that whether or not you bust a nut here and there will NOT dramatically change your life like the pseudo-science bullshit professors over there believe.
