Yes I know most of the TV courtroom shows have similar arrangements. But don't forget this guy probably had his reputation ruined by her before this. He was publicly vindicated and she was publicly called out for her shameful behavior.

In this case yes she sounds like an emotional basket case. And in a lot of cases the guy gets absolutely burned if the marriage falls apart. That's why you better be damn sure the person is worth the risk and you have a functional relationship and even then you're taking a risk. Still I'm just saying there are good reasons why people still get married.

There are actually many good legal reasons to get married. Being married means you can't be compelled to testify against your spouse. You are "next of kin" in case of medical emergency or death. I remember hearing about a case of a women who couldn't even go to her wife's funeral because her wife's​ family didn't approve of her homosexual relationship.

I get it. Most women like their man to be taller, there is absolutely nothing wrong with having a preference. Guys tend to like women with a shapely figure and skinny. Great idea. I think you can use this technique if you're meeting multiple women at a bar or other type of mixer. Let's say you do get an obnoxious turn down. Why not just embellish that to the point you're laughing to yourself while you approach the next one. It's a win win.
